Bought toilet rolls for my box today. I had a choice of 24 Charmin for £7 from Morrison's or 12 Tesco own brand for £3.50.
I got 2 of the Tesco ones as we have 2 toilets and the smaller packets are easier to store. :D

:rotfl: Well I found out why my neighbour from hell was working on the disability car last night and this morning.
I thought is was weird they hadn't taken it to the garage, as they can get it mended for free.
It turns out the stupid !!!!!! bought some cheap fuel from someone and it made the car bunny hop. :rotfl:
They had to drain the whole lot and change the plugs or something :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

One really shouldn't laugh at others misfortunes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Do dogs get depressed ? He as stopped eating and looks thoroughly down since dd left .

She rang me earlier in floods of tears ,shes homesick but luckily they have great staff so while i was on the mobile with her her i rang the house on the land line and they went up to see to her. its so hard shes only 16 and only an hour away so my 1st instinct was to go see her but i don't think that would help.

only 38 days until i pick her up for the hols !

Oh bless her. It must be heart retching. :grouphug:

Yes I think dogs can get depressed. When I used to look after my Mums dog, she pined for the first few days. But she soon got used to being here. I am sure your dog will adjust to dd not being there. By which time dd will be coming home. But then next time she goes away the dog will know she is coming back. :)

CHRISSYG oh bless DD it must have been heartbreaking for you to hear her, but its early days yet, and she is young, yes dogs do get depressed they can also get separation anxiety, we lost our darling first husky, she started with being depressed, not eating, then it was bringing up blood, then she seemed to be fine, until she brought up blood again, we took her to the vets and she was desperately ill, her immune system had turned against her, and they think it started when my ex left so keep an eye on her/him
MRSCULLEN hello, oh im glad you had a lovely day at DD graduation, i was thinking black trousers actually, (im only 5ft 3in :rotfl:was everyone just dressed smart? I am getting panicky. Glad ED is settling in Kenya, and hope she can get home for xmas with you all, hamper idea - Werthers Originals

Happy birthday Emalou just whipped in before midnight. Hope you've had a great day. X

Didn't get on to post or read properly yesterday as was mad busy again and wow had three pages to catch up on.

Linky I totally and completely understand your blow out with your neighbours. As you know I've had trouble too :( except the cheeky madam who was so abusive to me decided to report me and lie about a series of events. Ends up her word against mine, she was "moved" from her last house due to problems with neighbours and I've been here almost 30years and had no problems. Thankfully the facts spoke for themselves. Fingers crossed you get some peace now tho :) x

Pinklady I do hope the lovelies on here can return your Christmas spirit :) You've had such a tough time by the sounds of it, if anybody can help with Christmas on a shoestring these lovelies can. Good luck :)
Linkiepie thanks for the tip, I will be trying to pop in to look over the weekend.
Pinksteps bless your DS, he's (well you both) have had such a lot to deal with. I wish they'd hurry with the next stage of his treatment so he can hopefully dance again very soon. It must be so frustrating. And yes I agree his assessment is very very late, but you never know hopefully with the findings he can move forward :) I truly hope so. Im not very good with keeping up with the news etc but do you think what's happening in Syria with have a knockon effect for us this winter? (That sounds so selfish now I've written it)
Pinknfluffy ooh my dear lovely. What a dreadful time you've been having :( and suffering so very much. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. I can only echo what the other lovelies have said. Is DH going to be able to go with you? I always find if you take a notepad and pen out, the dr knows you mean business. List your symptoms and ask if you can be referred to a specialist. You don't need to be suffering behind closed doors this is a very real condition and there are treatments available. Take them and let's have the Pinknfluffy that we know and love all month please :) xxx
Gettingtherequickly wow what a great result. Do you have plans to spend your cash? X
    Fatblackandwhite I neeeeeed a trip to Dunelm :) x
Nit-nurse my lips are sealed. Haha
Bunbun really hoping you are beginning to feel at home amongst us :) Perhaps we could declutter together :) Im getting nowhere fast! I so remember those days tho my two are 30 and 26 now. I used to look forward so much to seeing them after school and when the time came they'd bicker like mad (they still do!) and I'd end up grumpy xxx
Mrsinvisible I like the idea of our Christmas chatter taking over the world haha. Half my problem (not even half more like 90%) is that I'm brilliant at decluttering, de hoarding and organising from my bed but when I wake up in the morning the GUAG has got up and gone! X
feisty oooooh what a dilemma As Fatblackandwhite so rightly says we will totally support any decision you make. Mr Feisty and you have some very serious thinking to do. A bit of me just worries if with DHs health as it is is it the right time to be making huge life altering decisions. But you know what a worry wart I am! xxx
Snugglebunny Asda have had Cadbury gold coins for several years now :) still buy them for DS and DDs stocking. I too have never seen butterscotch candy cane but I'd love to try some it sound delicious :) at the moment I'm addicted to aldi sugar free butterscotch. I love it x
Peppapig wow go girl. You are on a roll x
Chrissy my lovely that must've been so hard, to resist the urge to go and get DD. How strong you are, you've done such a wonderful job preparing her so far and luckily the staff are great so fingers crossed she soon settled. Bless you. I'm thinking of you xxx
And you poor doggy of course,

Freespirit so glad you woke pain free this morning. But you so know what I'm about to say! When is your next appointment at the drs? You really shouldn't have to suffer :( is the BD looming? You know I'm here if you ever fancy a chat (pm if you like) Mrsinvisible with get her hobnailed boots out again and I'm twinkling those fairy lights in your direction :)

In the crazy mad world of Nanamia yesterday was a very productive day.
DGD2 had slept over Monday night before Tuesdays play group in the hope that a return to normal routine might lift my mood :) DGD2 always manages to lift it :) So we started back at play group had a natter and a catch up seems as I've not been since June (before Oz) Then DGD2 went home for her snooze with her mummy :) One of our lovely neighbours offered to take us to Stax (trade warehouse type place) to look at flooring for when living room has been re plastered. Well what a place woo hoo and putting their Christmas stock out right in font of my eyes :) Got a few bits for stockings ( Linky you listening) I still don't know who has what or who needs what but I will.
Then on the way home with said bargain flooring - living room flooring, decent quality laminate to go with existing furniture and underlay £180 :)
Darling neighbour mentions another warehouse type shop. I'd never heard of but now I've been I'm sure somebody on here mentioned it a few weeks ago (can't remember who- sorry) but Kayandy said that she'd heard of it and a relative worked there. Think it's called Jft or Jtf anyway I was so excited it was amazing. Think wholesale version of HB :) wooo hooo bought loads. Turns out anyone can join so I did. I will be back. Thank you darling neighbour and you lovelies xxx
Looks like major changes are going to happen in the Nanamia household just got so sneak them past DH haha xxx
