FEISTY oooooh!!! well that is a dilemma!! A fantastic opportunity but it all depends on how good business is now, how established is it? Like you say perfect for your work that you do but you would have to use house deposit, is it your cloud with a silver lining after the year you have had??? A very hard decision for you and DH to make

Well I had it out with my neighbours this morning. :eek:

Came out of the house to go to work and they were all outside. The youngest pipped up ' We have a pond !'

I responded with ' I know, I heard your Dad put it in, in the middle of the night. '

The mums came back with ' oh it was the only free time he had to do it. The fish are coming today! '

Me, ' Oh well that's ok then isn't it. Why not keep everyone up all night because your fish are coming.'

He did stop working on the car at 9 last night to keep the noise down.'

Me,' what's he want for that ? A !!!!!!! Medal !'

He then says to her, ' have you noticed that we can't do anything right for her.'

Me, I lost it.

Told him to stop being such a selfish !!!!!!!!. Some of us have to get up in the morning for work. And that he should get off his lazy !!!! and try it one day!

He then asked if I could not swear in front of the little boy ! ( they swear at the little boy all the time)

Me, ' IF YOU DON'T LIKE HIM HEARING THE NEIGHBOURS HERE SWEAR I SUGGEST YOU TAKE HIM HOME. YOU KNOW HOME ? THE HOUSE YOU LIVE IN WITH HIM. THE HOUSE AROUND THE CORNER. YOU MAY FIND YOUR NEW NEIGHBOURS ARE NICER THAN THE ONES HERE !!!!!. AND I WOULD LOVE TO SPEND ALL DAY HERE BUT UNLIKE YOU I CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY !!!'

I then got in my car and drove off.
It has been very quiet here since I got home.

Thank you all for your kind words because both businesses (mine and theirs) is established, I may be able to get a business loan. The thought of 5k business debt (I've always been lucky that none of mine have been in the red) is slightly worrying, but an actual shop! I have a meeting with them Friday to discuss things through need to check their net profit is worth me doing it and then try and find out if having a loan on the business would effect my self employed mortgage application next year

Really worried now! I ordered a silhouette cameo on Sunday (luckily I used my credit card and then paid my bill with savings) and I ordered it from Create and Craft. I had an email to say it had been dispatched on Monday but the tracking has not changed since then from 'order generated'. I thought I would have a look around the net to see how long other people have waited for goods and oh my, the reviews are horrendous! I know people tend to only leave bad reviews and for every bad review there could be ten good ones but now I am a bit panicked after being so excited! I really need to check companies out a bit more before placing such big orders. Has anyone had any good experiences with them?

OMO - well done you, sounds like you let them have both barrels!

Feisty - sounds like a great opportunity if the figures stack up. Just don't forget that if you have a shop you'll need to be there a lot so it might tie you down and stop you covering the dental nurse work. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Fatblackandwhite - sorry I can't help as have never used Create and Craft but hope it's just be a mix up and your Cameo will arrive safe and sound.

Pinknfluffy - hope you get things sorted out with the Doc - I think the idea from Mrs Invisible to sit there rather than getting up when the doctor stops speaking is a really good one. Puts the onus on them to say something more. Good luck!

Special good wishes to those with children going back to school. It's ages since mine were that age but I still remember how much I loved the holidays because it was so relaxed not having to be anywhere at a particular time.

I'm actually making progress with my Christmas pressie stash now too so feeling good about that. Bring it on....:j
