I'm going to be doing a hamper of mainly nice foodie bits for my parents, can anyone recommend any "posh-ish" foodie bits I could grab from Mr T?
A lot depends on what they like. When I did this one year my starting point was getting 1 level up from what they normally used eg if they normally had Mr T own brand coffee then I got them the nice ones from Nescafe (Parisene or something like that) and biscuits became Mr T finest or Duchy Originals etc or things like these which are very yummy http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=2779687260 -
Hi! popping on to say hello, was a lurker at the start of the year and then mid year found out we were expecting no 6 which is high risk and have been in and out of hospital since and all xmas excitement has disappeared, hoping that this thread is going to bring back my xmas spirit (on even more of a budget now as have to buy everything again for baby)0

OMO - have you been keeping an unsociable behaviour diary? We live a 10 minute walk from the high street and sea front and a few weeks ago were being woken up early hours by drunken revellers cutting through our residential area to get home. I scoured the internet looking for a direct number to call when it happens (would sometimes go on for at least an hour, screaming, laughing, shouting etc) but I couldn't much help.
Nana, I hadn't even thought of selling the vinyl lettering! How clever you are[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Chrissy I've been thinking about you today. Bless you it's going to be toughBut look what DD has managed to achieve? You must also feel so very proud. Your VDD was also the beginning of this wonderful thread of ours wasn't she. The hunt for her replacement angel (I think angel but correct me if I'm wrong) set the tone for every post that follows. So we've her to thank I think for my new virtual family and all the love and support ever since
A very special young lady indeed
Sending lots of love and I will be thinking of you tomorrow xxx
Her Angel bear family has grown since then she now has 4 of them ! all going with her.
im just having a quiet cuppa before the mayhem starts .
Ive bought her a lovely frame with" best friends" in jewels on it , the plan is to take a photo of her and the dog and leave it under her pillow but the furry demon just isn't co operating, usually he is a little poser but will he hell sit with her! may have to sellotape his paws to the carpet [only kidding !]
on a Christmas note Ive ordered her another episode of charmed series 9 , this is working out very expensive there are 24 episodes and they are around £6-8 each:eek: .
if anyone is doing a car hamper Ive posted a code on the vouchers board for 6 issues of auto express for 40p you also get an Auto glym car protection kit free.
Hope you all have a good day , im off to start the mayhem. LOLThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I love several of their Christmas ones, also saw one called Christmas Pudding - both are marked rare and discontinued so may be quite old?
I have never heard of these two before.
If you have a Boundary Mill near you; they had christmas candles in last week.0 -

me too! I loved those reindeer towels last year and really wanted the reindeer but not store near me, hubby is checking if there is one near his work :-) I did get the fleece Christmas blankets which went in the Christmas Eve hampers, the reindeer gift tags and the santa one, the quality was really lovely so highly recommend them to anyone if they have them this year0 -
