    Hi everyone

I just come back (last friday) from a few days at Blackpool, great weather, apart from one night, but i love being in a caravan when it raining.

hope you all ok and hugs to those that need them, I must point out I do read the forum everyday but dont post. I find it difficult on my phone so tend to wait to get on PC

I made some tshirts to wing OH up so you can see them here if you want to

He always tries to wind the family up so we got him back, lets hope he has a sense of humour when the jokes on him

omo - what fab weather you`ve picked, let me know when you go again, im picking the same holiday dates

mrs giggle - thats terrible about your OH. I think they palm everyone off now and see who goes back

chrissy - lol at DD wanting to take everything and fitting it in the car. DS was the same the 1st year, now he takes the minimum and comes back with a list what he needs for the next time

Hope your fair went ok fiestyfidget - i have been thinking of you, hope you had lots of sales and no hassle

:rotfl: you must live on the other side of the country to me. We had rain from Friday night to about 5 Saturday, then we had the most horrific rain Sat night. It was so heavy it frightened me. And I don't really frighten that easily. Sunday and today have been lovely though.

As we were leaving I popped into the site shop/ enquiries desk to say thank you for a lovely stay, and the owner said ' Your the third person today to say that, 2 lads said it this morning and 2 girls at lunch time. I was very proud to point out they were my lot. :D

We have been home about an hour and a half. All unpacked and washing machine on.
Going to sit down for a while now, I have work tomorrow followed by a 160 mile round trip to pick up a wedding cake for my step sister.
    Oh Joy :(

    Evening everyone,
DD1 and i popped out today for a couple of bits, she wanted to do Indian food that she learnt on her trip and i wanted to make a couple of cakes in the next couple of days so we stupidly decided to go to tescos and got stuck right in the middle of the Reading Festival traffic, mind you it was funny seeing kids being picked up by mum and dad and they were all fast asleep in the back mouths open :rotfl:you could just tell they had had a brilliant time and were shattered, but the upshot was there were hardly any people in tesco and we filled our trolley with yellow stickered food with no pushing or shoving, boxes of strawberries 20p bread 10p packs of sausage rolls 9p etc etc so we have had to turn on the freezer in the shed so now i have got no excuse to start getting a couple of bits here and there for xmas and put it in freezer :xmassmile
FEISTY how did your fairs go?
OMO glad you had better weather yesterday and today, what lovely kids to say thankyou
CHRISSYG glad DD healing well, my DS was like that, after the initial getting him down there and moving him in, we didnt realise that every time he came home he was taking bits back with him, when we got down there at the end of the year, we nearly died and had to ring DD1 to come down with her car to help get it all home :rotfl:
    POPPYGIRL fab bargain
MSGIGGLEWICK oh what a week hope this one is fairly quiet for you
    NITNURSE thankyou
SUSAN42 love the tshirts, my DS bought one while we were in America and on every photo that he was wearing it DD2 happened to be standing where the arrow was pointing, it was hilarious
PINKNFLUFFY glad you had a lovely weekend
LAZYSHEEP oh that is a terrible shame having to watch a xmas film :rotfl:

Free spirit as predicted they were a disaster - after paying £45 and promised 50 exhibitors, vintage cars, pin up hair and make up and a vw exhibition, there were 5 of us dumped in a car park and hidden from view - only attraction were a 1940s style band.

I demanded a refund and they reduced it to £25, still didnt even make that over the two days :( feeling very disheartened now.

Oh FEISTY that is awful, i just dont know what the answer is about craft fairs anymore, they just dont seem to be the way to go, i dont know if its peoples financial situations or too many people thinking i could make that myself for less, its money you cant afford to lose, dont be disheartened my lovely, your crafts are beautiful and dont think otherwise :)
