I saw those on hotukdeals and ended up ordering 7 books for £12.55 delivered. So pleased as I like to buy books and craft materials for my grandchildren as well as a few toys. Spent yesterday with my grandaughter making lovely collage pictures using a coloured pad from the 99p shop. Hours of fun and so cheap.
  • Ordered 7 books too. Thanks for the heads up guys. Great stocking fillers :)
  • Need some positive vibes this way please, DS at another interview, he really needs to get this job, not just for the money but for his confidence its slowly waning :( will pop back on later

++++++++++++++++++++++++++ = lots of good vibes for your ds. Let us know how he gets on!

Had another client cancel last minute today grrrr think I need a late cancellation fee policy, cos its always the same 2 re-offenders. I swear sometimes they think I do this as a little hobby and forget to realise it is my business, my livelihood, and late cancellations = no wages! Grrr again!

I am waiting patiently for dd's to go to bed and dh to go to work so that I can pull out my xmas stash boxes, not for any reason other than I am very very sad and like to make sure my lists are upto date etc, even though I know damn well they are! I may make it worth my while though & start organising gifts into boxes/bags with the intended recipients name on!

But for now, back to pinterest to look up more elfcapade ideas!

omo - im so sorry for the weather but sounds like you had a great time

freespirtit - fingers crossed, knees and toes - lots of positivity forDS. Its a tough job hunt out there

fiesty - so sorry about your craft fair. I only do one a year , they ask me to go and its in the church. I just charge enough to cover stock and a little profit for overheads. Making crafts is about an hobby I think. Because people wont pay out. But on a positive note ebay is charging 10% on the postage so things will get dearer on line and PO putting prices up and up. So people will be sourcing local things soon, so I think local shops , sellers will be better off , fingers crossed

pinknfluffy - that's really awful cancelling at the last minute , i know sometimes it cant be helped but to re offend that's bad. You should be like the dentist. they charge if you cancel. Its not so much about you taking money from them, it just makes them think twice about doing it

    Xmas Saver!
    Am shattered.
    Went to work from 9-2.
Then dropped off the camping tables and cot bed at my Dads.
Drove a 3 hour round trip to get the wedding cake.
Got back to my step-sisters and cut/wrapped the second cake. Decorated the cars, and I am not even invited to the wedding !
Why did I do all that ? I have no idea.
I have been invited to the reception, but to be honest I don't know if I can be bothered anymore. I have got a blood test in the morning, and a pile of washing to get through.
May just turn my phone off and stay at home.

fiesty sorry the fair didn't work out your makes are great has gotta be a market out there hope you find it soon and don't give up

freespirit hope ds interview went well its so hard to find a job remind him that even getting an interview is a huge achievement

omo family can be so ungrateful but we still feel the need to do our bit and try and keep the peace even if they dont appreciate it.
If its not out of the way I'd be inclined to at least put in an appearance at the reception wish the happy couple well and then leave early otherwise if they're anything like mine you'll be the one in the wrong again

on the xmas planning front my delivery from hof turned up today wasn't expecting it till the weekend at least so that was a nice suprise
ordered some xmas themed organza gift bags might do a kinda of advent calendar with them? maybe even use them for the elf
he could maybe leave one each day with small gift/chocs or clues for bigger activites in? not sure yet
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

Just had a bloody good cry. :( Went halves with dh's sister on a huge framed photograph of our 5 children for mil's bday this Saturday. Promised it would be safe with me but somehow dd has managed to knock it over and smash it. Bits of frame and glass everywhere and one of my beautiful nephew's has a huge scratch down his nose.

Can't bring myself to tell his sister so we're forking out for a replacement. Not cheap at £65! So annoyed with myself for not making sure dd couldn't get to it but I thought it was safe where it was! Told them we'd pick up the cake too. Hope that arrives there in one piece!
    Savings Account - £0.00 :(

Hiya my lovelies just checking in as this week is so very very busy in the Nanamia household. It's going to take me a week out to recover, I warn you now.

Been out for lunch today for DDs birthday with friends etc truly lovely day :) feeling very lucky xxx
Yesterday was a nightmare poor DSonIL had a humongous panic attack although he didn't know it was a panic attack neither did DD who call for an ambulance :( The ambulance crew were absolutely amazing :) Bless them. One of my wonderful neighbours went and picked DGD2 up so she didn't have to see mummy upset and daddy lay on the floor struggling to breathe. We really are surrounded by (mostly) wonderful people

Oh my word Fiesty I don't know what the answer is, your products are fab and so much time and thought goes into your makes. I can't imagine what people are thinking.
Opee sending hugs my lovely, you and your Dad will get through it together xxx
Pinknfluffy it's just rude- I don't know. Sending more thoughtful client vibes your way :) Glad you got to spend time with DH this weekend tho Hope you were spoilt rotten xxx

Everybody seems to be doing so well on the Christmas preperations, I'm a little scared about what Linky has in store of me. I know the countdown is to begin shortly. So glad you had a good time Linky you so deserved it :) Did you find your lists were adequate or have you amended them on your return? All that chasing around today after your busy weekend, I'm not at all surprise you don't fancy the wedding!
Freespirit sending belated positive vibes to DS and sensible make the right choice vibes to his future employer! Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it, I'm sure he came across well. If not this one then very soon the perfect opportunity will be waiting. Hope you are feeling ok, let's keep that BD away with the twinkling fairy light :) xxx

Oh no Hanley you poor thing. It is exactly something that would happen to me:( Fingers crossed you manage to sort it for less than £65 xxx

Chrissy such exciting times ahead for your DD :) You are going to miss her :( Im glad she's healed well after her surgery now. You may have to make a few trips to college by the sound of it! xxx

Got a huge cake to do for Friday eeeeeeeccckk it's a biggie and I'm a little apprehensive ! But looking forward to afternoon tea tomorrow I'm doing it for DD instead of a cake as one was included in today's booking. Started off as afternoon tea for four and now is at ten who knows how many before she's done! Fingers crossed the sun shines and I can serve it outside, if not people will have to sit on the floor xxx

Nana you are a busy bee! poor son in law :( do they know what triggered it? Would love to see some of those afternoon tea makes!

omo you are a superstar! Although I don't blame you for not wanting to join in the wedding - you must be exhausted!

Freespirit, your son did really well to get through to the interview stage! Fingers crossed he gets through.

Hanley I am so sorry :( Really hope you manage to get it sorted in time x

AFM thank you all for your kind words - after seeing all the orders I have to finish I am a lot more positive, it's clearly not my work that is the issue. I ship all over the world have always get great feedback. I think I will continue with the craft fairs I have booked/agreed to and then just concentrate on online sales :)
