It's a huge wherehouse type shop you have to be a member to go in but they do some great christmas stuff and have great offers on though out the year my sisters mil works there0 -
I just wanted to say I love reading this thread, all you guys are amazing.
It's lovely to read what your all up to, I can't really keep up as it moves so fast. Thanks to all who post their christmas bargains and ideas they are brilliant and so inspiring.
I have my ds first birthday in 11 days so sorting out party bits which is very exciting and I can't wait to spoil him rotten.
Then its back to trying to earn some pennies as the weathers going to change soon(not great for a gardening business) and budgeting for winter months and christmas of course.
Hugs to all that need them and thanks for providing a little escape from life even if it is only for a few minutes at a time.0 -
noodles86 That photo excites me
I'm thinking that the tins of chocs are going to be my cheapest option for filling up some glass barrel sweet jars that I picked up in store 21 earlier on the week (they were buy one get one free) I also picked up a slightly larger one in Wilkos to for just over £5. All the jars are different sizes & should look nice when filled with 'candy' I'd like to do just red & green colours & candy canes but this may cost a small fortune?
Also picked up 3 more presents from the Argos clearance... an appwheel that was £7.99 down to £2.49, a WowWee Paper Jamz Guitar that was £9.97 down to £3.99 (this has excellent reviews and was really popular last Christmas so I am pleased but surprised at the massive price drop) this should be perfect for my little wannabe rock star& an arcade game for an Iphone/Ipod that was £14.99 down to £4.99. £32.95 worth of presents for £11.47 :T
I was really disappointed that I missed the Christmas in July on QVC but am hoping to set a reminder for this month. Got a bit of a Christmas fix though by watching American QVC clips on youtube. Some are 2-3 hrs long. I am SO jealous of the products they get over there & their enthusiasm for it. One day I hope to be able to rent a house & spend Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas out there... ...one day ~dreams~0 -
I have just been baking some banana muffins and decided to add some cinnamon.....
Smells so Christmassy:xmastree::santa2:
Only 128 days to go :j:j:j:j
xxStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say :whistle:
