ooh tins in Tesco! That must be the start of Christmas in there surely!?

I love the rain we've been having lately too, it does make me think that festive nights are drawing in!

Popped to the shops today and picked up a nail polish for my mum. It's just a natural collection one, but she was quite impressed by it last year so I thought I'd grab her another. There was a boots points offer of 50 points for any natural collection item bought too :)
  • I think I have just about caught up. There is so much i want to say, so many hugs and smiles I want to give, but instead I will have to settle for sending big virtual hugs to all that need them for whatever reason.
Well my eldest dd(13) has been invited to spend the week with my mum (who is off work recovering from a minor op & will appreciate the company) and dh is away with work again so its just me and dd(5) at home for a couple of days.
We have written up a "schedule" for the week which includes doing jigsaws, playing bratz, making muffins, going shopping, and teaching dd cross stitch (hmm yes, I enjoy a challenge!). I am just off now to add "tesco" to my list - never too early to start on the chocolate tins!
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.

I will take a look at that, Thanks :)

pinknfluffy28 ... Enjoy your week with your dd(5) Cross stitch is a great activity to enjoy doing together. One of my dd's yesterday spent the afternoon sewing wool around a plastic shape (I'm not sure what they're called?) but I picked up the plastic shapes & some wool from a carboot a few weeks ago & the wool needle in Wilkos yesterday. She thoroughly enjoyed doing it, even going back over what she had done to write 'I love mum' & 'I love dad' on the shapes. We found them hanging on our bedposts this morning :A

I think craft projects are a great idea for girls 7 and over.

nitnurse-not2... banana & cinnamon muffins sound yummy X

I am really snowed under with craft fairs at the moment, but I think that once September is here I should really be able to crack on :)

Hi Nanamia, glad to see you're back :)

I know there's a JTF in Peterborough as my aunt dragged me there! However I think they're pricier than home bargains for little bits but their hot tubs looked lush!!

Freespirit, roast sounds lush can't remember the last time I had a roast!

Feisty, I hope that you do well at your fairs.

We're going on holiday Saturday, I cant wait! Mali's firs time at the sea side :) and Nia's third holiday this year! She is very spoilt by her grandparents!!!
