  • I'm afraid I can't help with the Paper Jamz stuff ELJAYCOCK - I have no idea what it is!

Someone at my work has organised a bring and buy book sale for charity, I just popped down and bought 'With Love at Christmas' by Carole Matthews for me, and 'Mr Christmas' as a little present for my Godson. Only 50p each!

I also bought a Christmas themed novel from a charity shop on Saturday for £1, I now have 3 Christmas books to get me through the festive season! :)

Oh the Christmas ideal home show sounds and looks amazing! I have some vouchers I need to use up very soon so I'm tempted, just not sure who would want to or be free to go! Is it something I could visit by myself do you think? I've previously worked at the venue during a different show for a previous employer, so I think I'd be okay navigating the tube again. Just not sure if it would be worth doing by myself?

We are going on the Saturday. My cousin is coming as well now. If you want to meet us there you are more than welcome. My cousin has never met my friend, so you wouldn't be like an outsider. Pm me if you want to meet up. xx

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Own My Own I am so jealous of you and all the other people going to the ideal home show. If only I were near London. I'm going to look out for something similar nearer to Manchester, if anyone has any ideas please send them my way! We do have some lovely Christmas markets and a couple of ice rinks and I can always have a mooch around John Lewis to fawn over all the nice expensive Christmas things if not.

Nanamia the butterfly is beautiful, I might order one for my mum, I know she'd love it too.

pinknfluffy28 I hope you have a lovely week with your dd, sounds like fun!

princesskitty29 I'm going to have a hunt around the charity shops for some Christmas books, dvds, tins etc. next time I'm in town. The Christmas stuff tends to go quick so I will have to go early. I might even hit up a local boot sale when I get paid.

Not much to report here in terms of Christmas preparation. I'm doing Christmas Eve goody bags and I picked up some little packets of tissues in poundland (printed with me to you style teddy bear design for the women, £20 notes design for the men). Also bought some sweets with good sell-by-dates on for the sweety hampers.

Oh that's so lovely of you! I think I may have a friend of mine willing/able to come now (yay!) but if not and if I'm heading down on the Saturday I will let you know! Thank you ever so much :)
  • ooo just mentioned the ideal home christmas show to dh and he is going to see if its his turn to work that weekend or not, if not then we're going :D yay!!! love him lotsly lol. Doubt my mum will want to come as its around the due date of my brothers first baby and she wants to be on stand by etc.

I've been itching to sort through what ive picked up already, only 2 more weeks before i can! Just got back from our trip to brighton, sadly had to cancel our trip to choccywoccydoodah as i was needed back home a day early as dh fell down the stairs and has badly strained his wrist... thought it was broke at first. nevermind we'll go back another time :D
