Freespirit my little night owl pal, I've so missed popping in for a chat. My wonderful DSiL is amazing :) Had the all clear on a recent dodgy smear, looking great and still very with it. She's truly inspirational :) My other darling friend also got the so far so good news that her chemo/radiotherapy has done its job :) wooo hoooo. I'm surrounded by all these superstars and yet still can't shake this BD. it's like a blooming boomerang :( I've been ever so worried that I was going right back and cracking up again :( It can't have been as bad cos I didn't see it coming last time and at least I know the warning signs now. But that's enough about me!

Oh NANAMIA that is the flipping horrible thing about BD it just comes, smacks you in the face, and then you are blighted with it until it decides to leave you again!! Its a big thing to deal with too you know, just because its not physical like your DSIL and DF and you cant see it doesnt mean its not as debilitating, so glad about DSIL and thats fab news about DF after going through that horrible time, glad you have been able to come on here, sometimes i have to force myself to type something even if its a load of old tripe :rotfl:bless DGD2 they are good for the soul arent they? Night speak tomorrow :)

  • Oh my this thread moves along so fast! I love that my business has picked up to the point that I dont even have time to log on once a week nowdays, but I finally realised today how much i am missing my christmas fix, and so have decided to not take any appointments for a few days this week and instead i am going to take a few £'s of my hard earned cash and make a start on some stocking fillers & xmas eve hampers, but first things first, tomorrow will be spent catching up on here! night night my lovely little elves :rudolf:

Nana as freespirit has said, your's may not show the physical scars, but it is most definitely a crippling thing to deal with. Please don't suffer away in silence - we are all here for you and I know that emotional support does help with the BD. If you go all silent, we will not be amused! As lovely as it is to hear about the updates from your (amazing) friend and SIL, we also NEED to know how you are doing! Don't tell us you're fine if you're not and don't go all quiet if you need to speak about it.

Freespirit, I'm with you on the heat thing!

Pink so glad business is booming, take the rest - you deserve it :)

morning, the rain has stopped, are we really due a heatwave? hurrah, cos going to blackpool with dd and DGS on Thursday for one night and 2 days so sunshine would be v-e-r-y nice. Nanamia, so pleased you have posted, welcome back, chin up, sending you the invis black dog stick and a pair of hobnailed black dog kickers. My heart goes out to you, hope you are getting the help and support you need.
Freespirit, I don't know how to post pictures, but will make it my project of learning to find out before Christmas, then I can post the picture of the value hamper.
The nibs should be skyping today, so I need to get cracking to be ready for them, get rid of a weeks rubbish from the living room and put some flowers on the table. (they like a look round grandmas house, and enjoyed looking for 'signs of christmas' last year, so I'm thinking of an elf for this year.)
