Random question but does anyone know if you can block numbers on a iPhone??
No, not without jail breaking it. ( not a good idea). Sorry. x
ETA you could get the app Ringtones 500.00+
The lite version is free, and it lets you record your own ringtone. You may still get the call, but the ringtone can say anything you like. Might make you feel better -
" !!!!! Calling !!!!!! Calling !!!!! Calling'
Or you could record something really quietly, so you can't hear your phone ring.
Although this wont stop them leaving a message. When I get messages I don't want to listen to, I open the voicemail press 1 then 3 without putting the phone to my ear. xxx0 -

Another day another dollar, as they say. Tried to assess the Christmas grotto aka spare bedroom to update the list of still to get/buy/make but didn't get far, I have too much, and ill have to offload some (mainly toiletry sets from Boots 75% off sale) DD and fave cousin will benefit, and the Christmas fair tombola stall! Not like me normally, but I got carried away a bit.
On the plus side I have only the food hampers (4) to do and the 3 grandnibs to sort out and I have their Christmas eve PJs done already. Also got DGD (7yrs) a head you can make up and do hair thingy and some girly bits to go with it. I will start with the M&S hampers this week, if the tinned meats or fish etc are on offer. The Tesco value ones I'll get some of the stuff each week. (that one started as a bet with DD that I couldn't make a festive hamper with value products for her to give her SILs --don't challenge me lightly, daughter dear, you may lose!)
Local Chinese take away gives me the plastic trays they get fresh mushrooms in they are the perfect size and are rigid enough for the hampers, covered with festive paper and recycling can only be a good thing.
OK will stop rambling and get up now xxx0 -
I have been a very bad
I joint this thread early this year but due to personal life taking over I haven't been back since! Will take me forever to catch up with the thread but love to hear about everybody progress.
My daughters birthday and my mums is in December so I HAVE to be a big more organised as its hectic otherwise.
I got lots of gift sets in the boots 75% off sale in jan so that has helped with birthdays so far this year and the rest will be given out at Christmas.
I have a few bits from the h&m sale for my daughter and sister which will be put toward Xmas. I've also picked up some pjs etc which were reduced for my mum from primark this year which will be put aside for her bday.
Also have some other little bits and bobs for my 2 close friends children.
My uncle and his fianc! have just had thier first baby which is a beautiful little boy so thats another little one to buy for. (There is only 4 years between me and my uncle and we grew up very close)
As far as main prezzies go I have...... None
I only need to buy main pressents for my mum, little sister and daughter but I have no idea what to buy. I know my mum would love a sat nav so if I see one in my price range I will get that.
Will have to get my thinking cap on for the rest.
I do have a big box with presents in and also on top of my wardrobe so I will have to get them put soon and decide who is having what and what else I need to buy.
I would also like to do my sister and daughter Xmas eve stockings (they will both be 4) thinking along the lines of a DVD, drawing pad, small toy etc.
Can't wait to catch up with the rest of the thread and its only 129 days until Christmasmy fave time of the year
:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:

Just bought some Carex handcream in Superdrug, reduced from £2.50 to £1.22 if anyone was thinking of putting some in a pamper hamper.
Trying to decide what to get my brother. He is having a tough time running his own business at the moment, well has been for the last couple of years, so for the last few years I have made up hampers so he has enough smellies etc for at least 6 months every year and given him cash. There is always an irate phone call when he opens his card or wherever I have hidden it this year, but I know that it is really appreciated, it is alot of money, but I have always said if I couldn't afford it, he wouldn't get it and anyway, a couple of times the shoe was on the other foot and he helped. This has always been between the two of us and we both know that it will not be mentioned to anyone else. Any suggestions on what I can give in addition to money this year, that I know he will use and appreciate. He was very upset when he finished the Christmas cake in May!A smile costs little but creates much0 -

That's lovely.
I would stick to a nice food hamper, with food/drink he wouldn't buy himself.
Can never go wrong with that. ( unless its for my Dad) :rotfl:0 -
OMO thanks so much for the elf link. Have actually read all 73 pages and have got a whole word document with mischief and merriment ideas typed out. Thank you again, soooo looking forward to it0
