  • Hello Lovelies, I have you missed you all.

Well updates are, we moved in to my mums house, only to have my elder brother get his son to squat in my house whilst he demanded it as part of his inheritance!! so to cut a long story short DS, myself and Teddy have now moved back home and living out of boxes.

There is finally some answers with DS and his legs, it is now decided he has mild cerebral palsy and dyspraxia. he is being fitted for splints as a long term procedure but the positive thing is he will be allowed to remove them for his dancing. So, hopefully he will be back dancing soon.

I am now going to try and skim through the thread to see what has been happening.

Can't believe that the weather is so hot and I've been buying Christmas presents!
I got 3 lots of Linea small candle selections and pot pourri from HofF for aunts/uncles and a yankee candle half price for my Mum.
Also bought an audio boxset from The Works online using their extra 20% off plus free P&P for hubbie. We really haven't got much spare cash at the mo but getting things so much cheaper now will help in the long run :D

hi, hope the hospital appointment goes well, Feisty, thinking of you both .
Go for it Curly, wrapping presents in sunshine, life doesn't get much better than that!
Pinksteps, how rotten for you that your brother is such a rotter, but how much worse for him to be such a mean spirited person, he has to live with himself and that must make his a miserable existence.
I am still being amazed, upset and dismayed at the attitude od my special's family.... well not his sister, or younger brother, but all the rest of them. I am accused of locking up his house and not letting any of them in. (why would they want to be in his house when he is dead and they didn't go in when he was alive?) Of taking everything out of the house (his sister has all his furniture, and I gave his cousin the car, even tho, under his will he left me everything, I actually want nothing, I don't want to profit out of his death).
I took over the arrangements for his funeral, and didn't consult them (yes, I arranged everything the way he wanted and I paid for it too, but I decided everything with his sister and brother, who were relieved that I did it)
I also took over care of his lovely old border collie, who no one else wanted, as he was old, expensive and needed attention which none of them were inclined to do.
Their comments hurt, but I won't demean my special by replying to them.
  • Feisty, hope all goes well today, you certainly need a change in luck, but all of this stress and strain is only strengthening your relationship.

MrsI, poor you, it's amazing how some events bring out the worst of families. As you say, you are doing what he wanted and they are probably peeved that it was you he wanted to deal with things and not them.

Too hot to work, should be a law for maximum working temp!

    Have a good one everyone.
A smile costs little but creates much :)
