Evening everyone, well DD2 has decided to move out
we had a chat last night and big hugs and tears, and i think i and DS have managed to persuade her to see a counsellor, since her dad left she has had so much anger inside her and i and DD1 get the brunt of it, she has far too much going on in her life at the moment and is constantly stressing, and crying and blowing up at the slightest thing, so i hope talking to someone will help her. But now i am absolutely petrified how we are going to manage without her rent money, things are very tight as it is and i know DS is coming back from uni but he still hasnt managed to find a job back here yet! Oh lordy and all i can think about is flipping xmas :rotfl:and im too flipping hot  (sorry but it has been 30 here today and i hate it)
OMO oh god sorry i cant help i am useless with cars but i do like DDs way of thinking :rotfl:thats funny
FEISTY oh i am so sorry my lovely, thats what i was afraid of, all you can do in these bloody impossible situations is try to be positive, like the saying if i didnt laugh i would cry, listen to me i need to take my own advice
TRENDYJENNY you are welcome you know where we are
MONEYSAVINGMUMOFONE oh i hope you feel better soon couldnt think of anything worse than a fluey bug in this heat
REBELHEDGEHOG not pointless on this thread
FLUFFYSOX ahh i bet they are going to miss DS terribly, what a lovely present

Im sorry you have had BD for a few days, yes it does just sneak up and always when you dont expect it, you need some more cuddles from DGD1, i am ok at the moment thanks although after events with DD2 i am surprised, take care and go and find a big stick

Good morning,
Sending hugs Fiesty, sorry to hear everything you and your hubby are going through xx
Belated Happy Birthday Nanamia, hope you had a lovely day xx
OMO I'm also off to look at cars. I love my big bus (7 seater Chrysler Voyager) but she is getting old and will need more work soon. Plus it is going to be £154 to tax her at the end of this month.
My dad gave me a little money from my Mum when she passed last year. I've had it in my ISA and unfortunatey spent some of everyday life stuff. Times are hard. But I feel bad just frittering it away. But I have £1200 left and my car to trade in, so will see what I can get.
My car is a diesel and has 115000 miles in the clock, the engine with run and run if its serviced and looked after.
On a Christmas note, we were out at a Highland games the other day and there were loads if lovely pinecones. So we collected loads all ready to glitter in December. I was so excited picking all the best ones lol x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Dear Feisty, it seems so unfair, poor DH, he must be feeling dreadful, hang in there, and hug a lot.
OMO cars are a !!!!!!, hope you make the right choice, and DS, he is so wonderful, a credit to you.
Freespirit, hope DD2 has a smooth transition, and gets the help she needs, and that your homelife improves as a result. You obviously provide a comfortable hop-in-hop-out-I'm -always-here-for-all-of-you-give-me-a-hug-nest.
Nanamia, HOW MUCH for bloomin acetone? its dearer than whisky. Glad you are still havin fun give the BD a damn good kick if it comes any nearer.
Well, the insomnia got a good hiding last night, I took DD out for a treat yesterday and bought her clothes and shoes (bargains, nothing over £8, ) came home, watered garden and was in bed by 9, I woke up at 730 wow. hope it lasts.
No plans for today, just sit in garden and sneeze a lot.0 -
nic I hope the car search goes well. I only have to decide between 2 Picasso's and am having trouble. The thought of shopping with no idea would be too much for me.
I think I am going for the newer beige one. I has only had one owner from new (2004) and has a full service history.
I also like the look of the brown dash board.
But with me who knows :rotfl:
mrsinvisable so glad you had a good nights sleep.0 -

Gettingtherequickly-What about a bouncy ball? Hairband/clips for the girl? Will a toy car fit in it? You can get them for 80p in Asda and Tesco.
Great idea about the clips, will sort out getting some. The ball did cross my mind, but I don't think it will fit, will see if I can pick up a small one someplace. Did pick up some small farm animals in Sainsburys this morning, he is animal mad, so will be quite happy with them. Also picked up a couple of sherbet dips and dib dabs for them, can't get them in Egypt. It is a shame I am going a little earlier this year, as usually pick up a couple of tins of sweets to take, the prices of Roses etc there is horrific. Was in the hypermarket one day there and dragged to look at the price 200L.E. which is about £20:eek: Never again will I complain at having to pay £5 for a tin that seems to be getting smaller!A smile costs little but creates much0 -
I got a ticket with my shopping at Sainsburys for 1250 extra ponits if I spent £50 on alcohol:)
As I needed blue curacao for my Christmas cocktail party and vodka to make flavoured vodka for the kids as gifts I went back and bought both:Dand a little left over so indulged myself with a bottle of gin to save :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and some beer for my DH.
BargainStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say
Loving de-cluttering0 -
We have tried to have a bit of a relaxed weekend to cheer DH, but sadly unless I have a set goal for the day I get restless and irritable[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
Live in the moment more and appreciate the small things0 -

Oooh, will have to take the scenic route home from work one evening as I don't have one near me. Thanks for letting me know.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
I'm soooo excited for Christmas teehee! I've ordered my little nephew some Vans pumps and a Beatles tshirt from the next sale, the vans were only £12 which is a bargain in my eyes!xx0
