Big waves and hugs from down under :) Will hopefully post in bite sized chunks so I don't loose a big post again.

Thanks for the good wishes, really are in our element out here, just a shame all those I love aren't with me then I think it'd be close to perfect. Everything is just so more relaxed, gentler even the driving (DH noticed today) attitudes are so much better :) Our DGD2 has picked up an Australian accent and I was copying her earlier she said "U teasing me?" Ha I felt such a meanie, had to explain that I loved it :) She was settled enough to go on a play date for a couple of hours this morning, believing that we really were still going to be here when she got back :)

Sadly since we've been here DSiL has been admitted to hospital with what they suspect is a twisted bowel. Doped up with a morphine pump whilst they investigate, and is due for a colposcopy tomorrow! Poor darling has had such a rough time. Spoke to her earlier and she's away with the fairies :) but her poor hubby and girls are very worried :( Luckily with FB and FaceTime I'm able to keep in touch. Even if I can't be with her.

Trendy hello my lovely, how u doing? Not sure if you've already bought the sports bag for your swimming hamper but last year tes@o had lots reduced at the end of the summer, very reasonably priced. Got one for SiLs stocking xxx
Quidsy hi there :) your Christmas preparation sounds fab.
Mrs Cullen you are now officially our resident rocker. How many concerts (showing my age) gigs have you managed so far this year? :) Congratulations to your DD, a very proud mummy :) wait till graduation day Oooh I loved DDs. How was your holiday?
Linky I too have downloaded the Christmas stories thank you so much, do we have to wait? Or would a sneaky peek be allowed? Although I'm reading a truly lovely inspirational book at the mo about angels :) didn't really think it'd be my cup of tea but I'm enjoying it. I think it's a true story but haven't looked into it! Ha what am I like. Might do it now. I love the idea of angels watching over us :) Well I know it isn't everybodies cup of tea but it gives me comfort xxx

How is Master Linky getting on, I love to hear his progress :) xxx

Feisty ooh I really hope that DH has now turned the corner :) can we assume his op was 'delicate'? Poor thing has had such a tough time. Good luck with the craft fair preparations but please remember to be kind to yourself xxx
Msgigglewick oh my word, if its not one of your DC its another:( you poor thing and them of course. Really hoping that DD has had a good day in her high school today and she's full of enthusiasm for September. X
Freespirit I do hope you've sorted the problem with your overdraft. I have seen DH on another board referred to as KH I think I'll adopt that for yours too. K standing for something you may hold to open a draw! Aaaargggh when I read your post I was so blooming cross with him:( It's hard enough keeping that BD at a distance without him keep rearing his ugly head! But posting in the afternoon, I have a feeling you have found some strength from somewhere :) Well to be honest that's what Im hoping for you xxx

Imagine my surprise today whilst going out for coffee with DH (whilst DGD was on her play date) to pass a shop that said "Christmas in July starts here" woo hoo I was so excited :) Said shop was closed only opens half a week- told you they were laid back! Guess who is going back

Then two of the larger stores that sell toys Target and The Big W have a promotion on. Can't remember how they phrase it but you reserve your toys now (lay by) and pay bit by bit for them then pick them up anytime until 22nd of December. What a good idea :) Im going to choose DGD1s presents for Christmas and birthday (end of Nov) and DDiL is going to sort them :) no messing with postal services which let me down last year. Hoping that by the time we come home at least this side of the families Christmas is sorted. Linky I may need a timetable! xxx

    Surprising me every day.
I ask if he wanted picking up today as I would be about 20 mins from him getting the tent.He said ' No, it wouldn't be fair on the boy he gets the train with, making him come home alone.'
Not that long ago he wouldn't have thought about the other boy. I am starting to wonder if he is actually my son.

I am saving my books for when the nights draw in. Although thinking about it, I would need to read 2 a week starting now to finish by Christmas. :rotfl:

Aww Linky he is such a credit to you :) I think the turning point was giving you the iPad when you were upset, it just goes to show :) xxx

Yeh I was thinking about pacing the books out but they are only 500 pages each compilations I think I read so maybe more like short stories. Oh I think I may have to investigate on behalf of us all :) xxx

I will save them then. I like to drink hot chocolate and be under a throw when reading Christmas stories. And thankfully it is not hot chocolate or throw weather. xx
