    Xmas Saver!

All went well on ds' first day. Another lad from our town was there today. Ds didn't know him but it turned out they know a couple of the same people. So they are going together tomorrow. The lad only lives a few roads away, and they are going to meet and walk to the station. I have told ds if the lad isn't there by 6.50 he must phone me and not just stand there all day waiting for him.
Today they gave him all his work gear, which he must bring home every evening. Orange trousers and tabard, hard hat, ear protectors, glooves, googles and steel toe cap boots. He only took a small bag with his lunch in.
Goodness knows how he got on 3 trains with it all.

Dds new bb came today with no sim, so she wasn't happy. Then she found out you can bb without a sim on wifi, so I haven't seen her all evening. Sim being sent out today, so should be here tomorrow.

Was watching Andy Murray when the phone came. Answered the door sat back down and only realised after 10 minutes that the game had gone to the red button and I was watching the wrong match.

SPRINGDREAMS how many do you do a day???? to have earnt £300 that is brilliant

    Thanks freespirit66 :D

I do swagbucks everyday, and get a survey from Valued Opinions most days. I also do Maximiles.

I also do shopandscan, screenwise select, consumer pulse, food diary and webview via Kantar.

I have also done onepoll and globaltestmarket, but as I work full time and am a single parent, find it hard to do too many of them, so have let these 2 fall by the wayside.

I will be switching from swagbucks to neobux over the weekend, as I have been struggling with swagbucks lately due to a lack of surveys. I used to earn £10 a week in amazon vouchers with swagbucks, but this had dropped to £5 every 2 weeks :(

    Evening everyone,
MRSINVISIBLE so so sorry to hear your very sad news, you must be devastated, and feel absolutely bereft, we are all here for you when you feel you can manage to come back, so sorry your beautiful trip has ended in such an awful way x
NANAMIA the BD is still threatening but i am managing to keep it at bay (i think) :) thats funny your DD helping herself, no you are not the only one who cleans house from top to bottom before they go away, i have always done it, in fact it must have made an impression on DD as she had to feed her friends cats the other week while they were away and she was horrified at the state the place was left in, dirty dishes on the sofa, food all over the highchair, rubbish and dirty dishes all over kitchen, its not as if they didnt know they were going away, i love to come back to a clean house because the last thing i want to do when i get back is housework. How was DH heart monitor result?
TRENDY glad you had a lovely weekend what lovely friends
    FEISTY how is DH now?
OMO oh im so glad DS enjoyed his first day, that is a lot to carry there and back every day! That is nice that he had someone else as well, you must have been on tenterhooks today :) well done to DS

OMO bless your son, fingers crossed this will be the start of a great career :)

DH seems to be improving a teeny bit each day. Although he wont discuss it, I think he had the BD well and truly stuck above him, but the last week or so he has definitely chased it off with a stick and is pushing himself more and more towards recovery :) There is still a long, long road to travel, but fingers (and toes) crossed, he is on the mend!
