Will QVC be doing Christmas in July again this year? I watched it last year, but can't remember if it was at the beginning or the end of July.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0

I've just ordered some Christmas wooden bits, ready to paint for my fb page. So excited. I have loads of new ideas this year, so want to get started early. I also struggled to keep up with orders last year. Looking forward to getting the glitter out.
My DD did great at her dancing comp in Newcastle on Saturday. She loved the experice of us all going on the bus together and getting to know the older girls. We were shattered though as we left the house at 4am, and didn't get back til 10pm. She is only 7 and did well to stay awake, dance and have fun all day x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Thanks kayandy Will add to recipe post
Well I am so peed off I could scream.
Went to my Dads today. He had decided to put in his will that the caravan would go to myself, my sister my stepmother and one of my step sisters. So that no one person got it. I told him I didn't want to be involved with it. I haven't spoken to my sister in 5 years, and my step family aren't particularly interested in me, so I would rather not be part of it. I also said that to be honest I feel uncomfortable when any of them are at his house, as I am made to feel like an outsider.
He replied that we would could still come and that although the van would feel small with everyone there BUT HE IS SURE THAT THEY WOULDN'T FEEL LIKE I WAS GETTING UNDER THEIR FEET !
WELL ..... My reply ( please don't read if easily offended)
" Under their feet ! F*** your caravan. I hope you and your F***ing family have a nice time in it. "
To be honest I very much doubt I would ever have gone to it anyway. I just know that every time I'd phone him about going he would say "oh so and so are there today". He does it now when I ring about going to visit him at home.
I have never been invited to anything they do as a family. I always find out afterwards anyway.
He even had the cheek to say that if they are all there, I could use my pass for the swimming pool and not go to the van. I would still have to pay for the kids to go on the site as he only gets 8 passes and there is 16 of them.
So that is the end of that. I really don't know why I let it upset me. It has been like it since he moved in with them. And now, even though he lives alone he still puts them first.
I will post my picture through his door (for my pass) and then leave it there.
Although part of me feels like using it and just not actually going to the caravan. They don't even have to know we are there. If they see us there, so be it .0 -

OMO I am so sorry your Dad is being such an @rse! I don't blame you for being so upset. As an outsider it seems as if you have been replaced
I would definitely use the passes just to spite themPlus it's also very MSE

He got on really well thank you. Well I assume he did, as he hasn't said anything negative. He actually hasn't said anything at all :rotfl:
Which in this house is a good sign.
The boy he went with had to go to the ESA office when they got back ( just opposite the station) and ds went in and told them he hadn't received any fare money. So they are paying into his bank overnight. This is a big thing as this morning he asked if I could ring them tomorrow. Really proud that he did it himself.
As for my Dad ..... He really doesn't do it to upset me. He just doesn't think. And I find it hard as I don't want to come across as a spoilt brat, who is always moaning.
I have spoken to both the kids and neither are bothered about going there.
The other thing that hasn't been made clear is how I would get into the van if I wanted to. All my step siblings live near my Dad and could get the key at anytime. But I live nearer the site. So I would have to drive past the site (by 8 miles) to get the key to drive back. Then do the trip again to drop the key off.
When I asked ( rather heatedly) when I was supposed to be able to use the van, he replied in the week. So obviously we are not welcome at weekends when everyone else is there. ( Not that I would want to go with them all there) I coldly pointed out I work and ds in on a 6 week course. So that's the summer over  But then as they either don't work or work funny hours I expect they will be using it in the week anyway. So it really is a no win situation.
I really should be used to it by now, and for goodness sake I'm 40, but it still gets to me.0 -
mrsinvisible, I am so sorry to hear your sad news, that must have been horrible to find out while you were away. We're all shoulder to shoulder with you, in spirit at least, so please remember that and don't hesitate to come on here if you need support. You're in my thoughts x0
