    Maple syrup - yummy :)

Hi Christina :) have you tried Amazon or Ebay for a Canadian flag? I got a nice USA one from Amazon for £2.65 delivered, 5ft x 3ft, may be worth a try? I will have a look when Im on there and let you know if I can see any. You may be able to get Canadian Ice Wine for your hamper? very traditional over there :D

Nanamia I meant I can't add links when on my iPad :rotfl:

My uncle died today.:( very sad but at least he is no longer in pain.

I can't believe that had the holiday gone ahead we would be going on Saturday. We are still going to see Les Mis next Friday. Dd has a Maths exam in the morning and I am at work until 12, but then we are off down the A12 :j. A quick look in Fortnams :D, a not so quick look in Primark  dinner then the show.
I am going to remember to take drink and sweets with us this time, I am sure when we saw Oz last year the bloody stuff cost more than the seats.

We got dds after prom dress today for £16 in Tescos. I used double vouchers, so kind of got it for nothing ( well no cash left my purse any way) :). I also got Robbie a winter coat in the sale to make the money up. She is also going to wear the dress to my cousins wedding. So that's 2 birds killed . She has a number of different coloured blazers to wear with it. We just need to get her some shoes, but we can look in London.

OMO - sorry to hear your sad news.

Does anyone make candles? I am obsessed with yankee and miss being able to afford them! I have recently decided to pass my card making stash on to dd1 as part of her xmas box this year. There is so much of it, and although I have a separate little box of xmas cards I'm making, i just don't enjoy it any more. All my cards are starting to look "samey", I think its time for a change. So I think candles is the way, as im qualified aromatherapist I have over 40 e/oils anyway so scents will not be an issue! Can anyone recommend any good cheap starter sets?

Hoping the sun stays - not very busy this week so want to take the opportunity to sort the garden out!

Just wanted to say you for the lovely welcome
I looked on Amazon last night and ordered a white terramundi which you can decorate yourself. I also ordered some Canadian stickers which I may put on the pot.
