Nic your weekend sounds great
I try to put aside an hour to go through the entire wardrobe and find an outfit
advice from other girls going is always good
Free spirit have you tried eBay? I stole a turntable from my mum, luckily she's forgot that she borrowed it to me in 2009, so I think it's mine nowhe believes he has pulled a muscle, so refuses to phone. His mum and I agreed to not push him as it was just getting him angry and frustrated.
Dropsofjupiter, thanks for the link! Will have a quick look to see if there is anything I want/need.
Well I've set a target of 50 items in my store before returning to work on Monday - 7 more to go!2024 Challenges

Free Spirit, do you have a home bargains nearby? if so, I bought one of those get fit circley things for your feet, (like a twister thing) it makes a great turntable with a round cakeboard blutacked to it! cost me £4 ish. if that's any help.
Garden centre visit was lovely, spent £20, but got 5 smallish and one gi-huge heucheras, so I'm well chuffed. However, the day did not end well, a) daughter has been diagnosed with asthma, b)neighbour of 30+ years told me they are moving today, and c) spent 2 hours at A&E with DGS, his face and his bike had a meeting with the pavement, at speed, and he didn't win! Lovely A&E staff were great, he is well patched up, face looks like a road map, ripped jeans etc are in the wash, visiting dentist later today for tooth check, ho hum, boys, eh?0 -

Oh noPoor mites. If possible, try and find out if your daughter is allergic to tree pollen etc - I have seasonal asthma, the only time it affects me is when the tree pollen is rife. Life is pretty unbearable during this time as barely anything takes the edge off BUT I can cope with it better by dosing up with antihistamines etc.
Fingers crossed your DGS will be given the all clear from the dentist - it may be too soon for trauma to pulp to show on an xray, but they should be able to check for any root or tooth fractures etc. Keep an eye out for prolonged mobility to the tooth and extreme sensitivity to temperatures on the tooth that last more than a few days. xxx2024 Challenges

Hello ! Posting from my new ipad
My family get together went really well, and I had a super time. The village was lovely.
This week has been manic as I have been catching up from my day off. Bank holiday weeks always feel longer than normal weeks.
My mum has lost the plot again. ( no surprises there). She has told dd that I am no longer getting the family photos, she is giving them to dd instead. But as dd said (to me) she will give them to me anyway, as she doesn't know who the people are. There are about 300 pictures, of which only about 50 are worth keeping. My grandfather was the worst photographer ever, so loads are out of focus. I have all of the really old ones anyway. (She hasn't realised this, or she would kick up a storm)
My uncle is very poorly and not expected to last the weekend out. It is very sad as his granddaughter is getting married in 2 weeks. He divorced my aunt about 30 years ago, so I am not that close to him.
I hope everyone is well, I will try and catch up (again) over the weekend.
