Hi all, I just wanted to check-in as I haven't been on here for a couple of weeks. I've had a bit of a stressful time with work and being in consultation, but a cloud has been lifted and I feel like I can see a bit clearer now so i'm feeling much better.
I haven't got much time to thoroughly go throug the posts i've missed so i've done a bit of skim reading. Sending lots of positive vibes to those that need them and welcome back to some old names! Good to have you back here. :T0 -
p.s. snugglebunny (so good to have you back on here!) thanks for that website! I absolutely adore Cheetoh's crunchies (even though they are bright orange - can't be good) but you can't get them here. I brought a couple of bags back with me from my honeymoon but great to find another supplier!0

Freespirit, know this isn't particularly helpful but my friend Martin went through that exact same thing when we were in our early 20s - was all complete doom and gloom and he got a terrible prognosis and had a year of really intense surgery/treatment. He's been in remission for over 7 years now and is completely unaffected, apart from a couple of scars.
PS OMO - how was your bank holiday?
Aaah caitlyn that is really reassuring to know that, i will tell her when she comes home after work, i know you dont want to think the worst scenario but you cant help it when its such bad news, thankyou x#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Hi everyone,
NANAMIA ooh that french polish sounds lovely, yes we have got a B&M will look in there, my DD loves the BARRY M polishes too. Oh that is awful, i always feel the same as you, how desperate and scared were they to actually go through with it, and so young, what was so awful that couldnt be sorted out, a friend of my DS at uni, her brother did the same a few weeks ago, he was only 18, he told his dad that he thought he was gay and his dad beat him up and threw him out, i was so upset that that poor boy felt he had noone in the whole world to talk to.
PINKNFLUFFY ooh mince pies and sherry yes please (could of done with that this morning when i wrapped a few more presents :rotfl:thankyou for the advice re: gel nails and cuticle oil
TRENDYJENNY well done on making that phone call, i know exactly how hard it is to do that :T

Freespirit I think the beehive cake looks amazing
The patient isn't good today, lots of pain and a useless nurse visit to boot - he plucked up the courage to tell her that he has been getting chest pains and asked if it was normal. She told him to speak to the hospital (over an hour away) as she couldn't help. I understand that she is covering her back but DH is in too much pain to make the long trip to the specialist hospital at the moment - He's refusing to phone his specialist as he said it's pointless as they cant assess him over the phone. MSGIGGLEWICK aah thankyou but the icing is awful i really needed a turntable, and a hand that didnt shake, haha thats funny i cant wait to see a picture
FEISTY as i said to MSGIGGLEWICK i really wasnt happy with it but thankyou, OMG well couldnt she have rung someone for you, no wonder people get put off mentioning things when they get no help, he really does need to let the hospital know, because as far as they are concerned he is fine, it really isnt good for him to be in so much pain, you must be frustrated not knowing what to do for the best, will he listen to his mum??
DROPSOFJUPITER thankyou for that M&S deal#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
