Feisty - thinking of you and hope your dh can come home today.

Caitlyn22 - Your wedding pics are lovely :)

    Princesskitty29 - I love your wedding cake.

Christmas front here is looking good. Other than kids n dh I have 12 people to buy for and I believe I'm going to get it all under £50.

Nia's teacher - movie night (gift bag 78p, white xmas dvd £3, microwave popcorn 29p, mini bottle of wine £1 & a big bar of choc free = £5.07

    SIL's boy - mecanno set = £3.99

SIL's Girl - In the night garden figures = £2.50

My best friends daughter - In the night garden figures = £2.50

Cousins boy - Thomas the tank hoodie & socks = £6

    Cousins girl - Outfit & rattles = £5

Mum - movie night (gift bag 78p, muriels wedding dvd £2.80, shirley valentine dvd £2.97, microwave popcorn 29p, mini bottle of wine £1 & a big bar of choc £1) = £8.84

^^^ all the above are bought

Nias best friend will be six, no idea and will wait until nearer the time to ask his mum!

I had a chat with my aunt and we've decided not to buy for each other however I have a burning desire to make candy sleighs, which cost around £1.80 each to make so I'm going to make those for her & my uncle.

My cousin - An FCUK set I bought for £2.50 & a candy sleigh (with the idea I was going to print their names in card and they can use them as place settings!)

My cousin & his gf again just candy sleighs which I've discussed with him as I'm buying his kids gifts.

Gran & Grandad - snowman soup (in baby food jars) and a candy sleigh each. They literally need nothing so it's just a token gift. Oh and me & Nia might have a go and making them some bird seed things! Oh and maybe some fudge when I get round to trying to make it!

So looks like I'm making a lot of candy sleighs! I have seven to make in total and I've already started buying things if they have long dates (some are until April next year!)

I have bought (I've divided the price into 7 even if its an 8 pack)

    2 x pack of 12 candy canes from 99p shop - £1.98
    8 four finger kit kats - £1.79
    7 packs of poppets - £2
    8 choc orange bars - £2

I just need something small to go on top, in poundworld they had 8 milky ways for £1 but the date was too short so will keep an eye on those! Or was thinking funsize mars (ive seen 10 for £1.99) Oh and I would like some little Lindt Santa's to drive them! So hopefully will find some cheap much nearer the time in b&m or home bargains. So far each sleigh will cost per person £1.12

My mission at the moment is to find One Direction one way or another cd single. Nia who is 6 has become there latest fan and is desperate for the actual single. Searching charity shops most days but I'm not holding out much hope! Why couldnt she said in March she wanted it!? Kids!

I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that it was a download single and not a cd. :(
But don't quote me on it. :o

I think it was only available from sainsburys or download (I hope) but there's 'hard copies' of them going on eBay for £15+ I love Nia loads but not that much :rotfl: if the worse comes to the worse we would download & put on a blank cd but she really wants a 'real copy' at the moment!
