Thanks Free spirit66.
Myself and the DH were up there tonight and I asked if he could declutter a carrier bag of tools/ painting equipment. After 10 mins of rattling around in boxes he claimed that "I need them all":mad:................I hear the Mission Impossible music in the background playing very quietly at present but have a feeling it will be very loud tomorrow..........when he is out :T I will pledge to do the aforementioned carrier bag task then:D:D:D:DStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say
Loving de-cluttering0 -
Welcome nitnurse! I usually do a de-clutter when DH isn't about. I never bin any of his bits, but may suggest he do it
Seasonal asthma is back with a vengeanceWill be stocking up on plenty of vicks and hayfever tablets to try and get a decent nights sleep. Would much prefer the runny nose/eye combo over the not being able to breathe!!
I am tempted to tackle the balcony flowerbeds at the weekend - will set myself a budget of £5 and see what I can do
As promised here is the wine print[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Hello, welcome to all the newbies,it wasn't so long since I was she, and I felt at home right away!
Sorry you are not on top of op yet, BB, hugs to you.
DGS has a non uniform day today, I wish the school would not theme these days, as it is expense we don't need. (Today is England day) red and white...... he is a carrot top so we avoid red, and am blowed if I'm gonn buy red stuff just for today! He can wear blue jeans and a white t shirt, if they ask where is the red, he is gonna ask (jokingly) which limb they want to cut!
I never mind the sponsorship, its the other stuff. rant over.
Greenhouse is looking good, seeds have almost all germinated, and some of last years saves are putting on new growth, just need sun now and warm weather. hahahaahahahahahaa.0 -
That would make a brilliant birthday card Feisty - loads of people give wine as a gift and it would go so nicely with a bottle.
Mad busy on my continued decluttering mission. Over €400 made on ebay this month with the last four auctions drawing to a close. The final four buyers haven't paid yet from the ones that ended last week, why must they be soooo sloooooooow? One from two weeks ago I opened a NPB on, within five minutes I had a "will be sending payment shortly" message. Why couldn't they have replied to one or other of the messages I sent before that?!
Another busy day today and then tomorrow I declare a day for relaxing. It's been nonstop since Friday night and I am ready to fall over.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Thanks Feisty, will ask my GP. Lovely work as always! Im still thinking about what papercut Id like, would you be able to do a Doctor Who one with Tardis etc? Hope your symptoms ease soon. xx
SugarSpun-Great idea about the wine card to go with the wine as a present! Have a good rest, dont burn yourself out. xx
freespirit66-Well done on making the phone calls.I am exactly the same, it makes me so nervous! A few weeks ago I finally called my bank to tell them Id lost my card (lost it shortly after receiving it about 18 months ago!!) and my new card and pin was ordered and I was off the phone in less than a minute lol! Felt silly for putting it off but Ill be the same next phone call I have to make no doubt!!
BBTHREE-Your poor thing.Hope the 2nd op was a success. xx
Coo-ee Nanamia, hope you are ok. xxx
Ive been such a twit today, 'remembered' at 4pm that it was FILs birthday so hurriedly put his presents in a gift bag and was going to chance my luck that the shop near them had birthday cards! Was literally about to go out the door to catch the bus when I double checked last years calendar on my phone and realised his birthdays the 25th not 23rd! Doh! Least I remembered before I got there lol!'They only had one cow!'0 -
Happy St Georges Day
Sorry for going awol again. I kind of got out of the habit of using the laptop. I have been doing more decluttering. Ds' room is now done.
Freespirit66, my stag came from a factory outlet, it was gold, but TKMaxx often have them in.
Anyone heard from Nanamia ? I have only had a fleeting look over the missed pages, and I can't see any posts from her.:(
Hello to all newbies :j
Do you ever think you are being sensible because you should be ? After living with the lounge for a week or two, I decided it was too conservative, and I have been hiding my artistic inner self for years. So I thought as I get bored with one colour, I would use lots of different colours by framing pages from a calendar. I just have to buy a coloured throw for the sofa and I think I will be done. I don't think it is too much but then maybe I having a midlife crisis.:rotfl:
They are all made up of places names.
I have put cupboards in the top cubes to cut down on dusting and it gives more storage.
So I just have to paint the walls and it is finished. I have the white paint, and am just waiting for a completely free weekend to do it.0 -
Love the splashes of colour OMO, it looks really nice! I checked Nanamias profile and she was online yesterday afternoon so hopefully shes ok. x'They only had one cow!'0

Hi everyone,
I walked  to the doctors today, omg i didnt realise it was so warm outside and by the time i got in there a mixture of anxiety and weather, i was dripping, which made me even more anxious lol :rotfl:was given a lecture about my weight, and am now on BP tabs  when i went into pharmacy to get my prescriptions he said these will make my heart slower and make me very tired at first :rotfl:i couldnt help but giggle, and said its not possible to need any more sleep than i do already!!
