Hello my lovelies, I'm back will catch up throughout today looking forward to reading your news:) Just wanted to pop in and say hello xxxThe secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do

04624181-You poor thing, it does sound like medieval torture!! Hope the stronger painkillers work! Have you much left to do for the christening? Hope you have a lovely day, my niece and nephew are getting christened in May and Im really looking forward to it.
freespirit66-Chores for cake sounds good to me.How horrid of someone to say that to your DD!!
Gettingtherequickly-I like to save wrapping til later, partly for it to feel christmassy and partly because I have read stories about tags falling off and wrapping paper disintegrating! My brother wrapped all his only about a month in advance and all the paper came undone lol!
Feisty-Dont let it knock you down, you are a very talented lady indeed.
Great to see you back Nanamia!! :j How are you?
My toothache is back bah! Cant complain I suppose, I had a good few weeks without it which were bliss! Trying to plan the May half term and summer holidays, why cant everything be free? :rotfl: At least some places are though, The National Gallery, Science Museum, Natural History Museum and Bunny Park will hopefully be lovely cheap days out!'They only had one cow!'0 -
Gettingtherequickly, we have enough issues with wrapping paper looking nice for those that are wrapped early December lol. If you have a place in mind that is cool, dark and not usually disturbed then I say go for it
Thank you all for the comments, freespirit some people are so meanI can't not go back and add the question mark now as it's bugging me so much! Just glad I didn't get round to adding them on my business page as would have felt so foolish
I plan to have a lazy afternoon (shock horror) too defeated to do any work.
Yay Nana, glad you're out of lurkdom[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Freespirit66 - good on you, isn't that why people have children, so they can do all the laborious chores for you when you need them.
I love having days where you get loads of jobs done, it always makes me feel so much better.
Gettingtherquickly - it is deffinately not to early to start wrapping papers, surely the point of this thread is so that we can
keep christmas alive all year round, I say get wrapping and show us the pictures.
moneysavingmumofone - I love free days out, I hope you enojy them, we dont have to spend money to have great day out!
I have just got back from a meal with my friends, didnt cost me a lot, which is good because I cannot afford a penny right now.
I am going to get my head down and do some good money saving, any new tips, I would love to hear them. Work has been busy and pants so I need the cheering up!0 -

Freespirit66 and gettingtherequickly. I don't see any problem with the early wrapping as long as the gifts are stored where they are not going to rattle around and get damaged.:D I used to do mine very early and store in suitcases in the loft. (Dust free and away from prying eyes:p)
I am very orgainised but I love to wrap in December with a lovely Christmas CD playing, a glass or two of wine :beer:and some cheese and crackers......I can spend all day adding bows, ribbons etc:):):)
xxxStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say

Well have finally caught up
sorry I've been AWOL
been feeling sorry for myself, bobbed on a few times over the weekend intending to post but couldn't
Think I've been over doing things a little which always ends up in me getting like this and having panic attacks etc
Need a few days to build up my strength now and I will be back to normal
Sorry to hear so many of you are having a tough time:( sending big big hugs and happy smiling vibes to you xxx
