Gosh you guys, this thread moves so fast. How do you all stay so busy! *gasp* OMO - I wish I could have a house like yours some times. Those pictures really pop, not ott at all, it's lovely! Ours is such an mix of choas and colour it doesn't do anything for the stress some days! I guess thats the fun of kids?

I have had to wait for my kids to get to 20 and 16.
So there is light at the end of the tunnel.:D
It is just a long tunnel. :eek:

OMO I am in love with your lounge! It was amazing before, but those splashes of colour really seem to make it pop! Where did you get the frames from, they are awesome!

Having a bad day.

I genuinely think my Mum only likes me when I'm cleaning, cooking and paying for stuff.

I get she has mental health issues but at the same time I do so much and everyone seeeems too think it doesn't hurt me or anything like tatih t does I have my own health issues and noone even cares to ask and if heaven forbid I am having a migraine day orm y joints hurt shes always gots omethinig going on aswwell it haackcss mem oofff.

know the feeling very well ameyturtle... im a sahm atm and the only appreciation i ever get is ummmm errrrr kids saying thanks when they have had some money spent on them :S dh is off out tonight as a welldone/ty meal from his boss's for meeting this months targets... next month they are off on some kind of treat as well if they meet targets... be nice to be recognised at times... even when im ill i still have to drag myself about... funny how they only notice when they run out of knickers! .. you are sooo not alone.

Thought i'd have a munchie dinner tonight and watch a movie with the older teens, both have eaten/snaggled what i put aside for tonight, eaten all the butter with toast... so im now going without too... shall get the youngest in bed, have a bath and watch the syndicate i think. Expect dh will be home come then gloating over how nice his dinner was blablabla



on another note, found some fab xmassy fabric today! not sure what im going todo with it yet though lol

Hello all sorry have been awol for a few days but was in agony after physio on monday.

The physio was lovely and told me to get stronger painkillers from dr.
Have to go back for traction on friday and tuesday. It sounds like medieval torture haha x

Daughters christening on sunday so I struggled to town centre for some desserts for the buffet. Glad I went as another stall nearby was selling some cups off for £1 so got 3. One was a keep calm and drink coffee cup in a tin and that is to go with my dads fathers day present.
Tablets kicking in so will sign off for now, see you all soon take care xxx

Hey guys, Sorry I haven't posted on here for ages. I miss you guys, but I have been keeping up as best as I can. It looks like a lot of you are getting on with year and trying the best to make money! I am certainly joining that group because I am hoping me and my BF can get a mortgage in the next few months so I am trying to scrape together every last penny!! Ebay here I come, I have had a few months off but I will spend all Sunday doing it I think.

Big hugs to everyone who needs it! everyone from this thread looks after and takes care of their families in such a big way, sometimes we all need to just take 5 mins away from it, grab a cuppa and chill out.

FiestyFidget - those pictures look great, don't worry about punctuation, its over rated! I have never been a fan of punctuation anyway.

Evening everyone,
I have been making the most of having DS home, oven cleaned hee hee :eek:, printer set up, freeview box set up, put some boxes up in loft for me, in exchange he gets some lemon drizzle cakes made to take back to uni, and his washing is all done ready to go back, bless him he popped out today and treated me to some new craft goodies to help with the card making, i have two days left to make the most of him being home!
FEISTY i love the poster, another day singing it :rotfl:, dont worry that is nothing compared to what my DD2 got told on facebook the other day, she put a hamper on her page and some randoms, put ' you are having a laugh' 'i could get more at poundland' she was so upset and deleted it, i was bloody fuming, people are so nasty, she has made some lovely hampers as well.
AMEYTURTLE, MISSGIGGLEWICK i am sorry you are feeling put upon, and taken advantage of, we all feel like this from time to time and its not nice, hope you can find some special 'me' time and treat yourselves.
