Mrscullen, M&S dine in sounds divine, I hope you enjoyed!

Freespirit, selling on your daughters/sons facebook page sounds like a wonderful idea :)

I finally cracked the printing high definition A4 posters :) My text is crisp and professional, without a hint of distortion! I now have a small range of keep calm posters and a funny wine one too :) The weather is good enough to hopefully photograph today.

Am slightly annoyed as my cousin no-longer needs us to look after her dog - she didn't think it was too relevant so was going to just tell me last minute (but I spoke to her first) and so now I have the day off tomorrow for nothing! I have this horrid nagging feeling eating at me as it means I may not be able to save any money next week for deposit :(

After spending £12 yesterday on two new inner tubes, a foot pump and bike spanners - I plan to fix my bike this morning. The weather is glorious and so I may go on a mini 30 minute bike ride to the big Tescos (providing I can find flat terrain ;))

Off for early morning dog walk - lovely sunshine here. Then out for breakfast with bbf at local farm tea room. It's lovely seeing so much of her as we live so far apart normally but so sad that she is here because her Dad is spending his last few weeks in a hospice.
We've worked out that we celebrate, our silver anniversary of our friendship next month! That's longer than my marriage lasted...
I'm trying tomthinkmof a suitable gift and keepsake.
Hope everyone gets to enjoy their Sun

    Morning lovelies

    Sorry for being awol

So as you know we were due to pick Harper up next weekend, well I have a surprise he is already here!

We went and got him Friday 4.30am start was killer, we still managed to be mad by taking coffee with us and some cokes and ribena with us and I route plannered the journey to see the fuel consumption and the website said it should have cost 80quid and we were unsure if they meant for a one way journey or both ways well anyway we fuelled up at adds (cheapest by a long shot at the moment, they were 133.7p a litre for unleaded and 137.7p a litre for diesel and they are dropping both prices by 2p again) anyway we could only get 75 pounds in the car and we got to Wiltshire and back on it

Harper has his own photobucket account I'll get the link for you lovelies later

    Love and hugs xxx

  • I'm loving the cards!
I am sorry I haven't posted in so long. The last post I made the forum ate because I typed so much. I didn't have time to retype it. I have been reading though. You are all so busy.
I have been craftily busy in my own way, word wise, which is probably the reason I haven't posted as much.
I've been stocking up on trinkets from claires. - Toddler in the house and a box full of sparklies for dressing up seems like a good idea! Need to make/find a treasure box or something now, and snag a few dressing up outfits from somewhere.
Debating whether or not to hit a National trust today as it's free. I hope you all enjoy the sunshine!

    Morning all,

This thread moves so quick, I can't keep up. I'm used to the daily where we all post once a day!
Ooh slimming world, think I shall dig my books out:j
    Harper is gorgeous
Began a new blanket for mum and dad for Christmas, love doing squares as I don't have to follow a pattern

Amey, Harper is adorable! You are making me pup broody! I caught my Step-Dad rolling his eyes at me when I said to DH "when we get another dog...." it would seem I may have already gotten a reputation as crazy dog lady ;)

Julie, not sure if you read me mention a very old crochet blanket that I inherited from my Nan, but that is exactly the pattern of how it is made - is this a particular stitch? I would love to make a similar one, but have only attempted crochet once and it was a nightmare!

    Hi Feisty,

I watched a you tube video at http://facebook.com/dzcrochetcreations2

Hope you can find it, I'm rubbish at adding links. Honestly once you've done a couple you can do it very easily. As long as you can double crochet and chain your away, good luck x
