Good luck moneysavingmumofone and freespirit with your sales on eBay, I sold anything that stood still for five mins last year to fund our trip to Oz most buyers were brill but had a few pains! Mind you I'd have sold a kidney if they'd have let me :) Funnily enough it looks like our next trip really is going to happen :) DS has sent some money (well a lot of money almost enough for one ticket) so my lovely neighbour is booking tomorrow for us:) wooo hooo. Wasn't sure DS would be able to do it but there we go :) Miss them so so much, I know exactly how you feel freespirit when your DS goes back to uni:(
Moneysavingmumofone I'm glad you are going to have a go at DS cake :) have you any plans? Shout if I can be any help. We are going to see Identity Thieft at the cinema Wednesday apparently DSiL is really excited DN phoned today :) Before her latest illness she was really quite heavily drugged up with mental health medication, since she's been in hospital they've reviewed all her meds and she is so more aware and alert, back to her old self, so I thought we'd try and have some 'normal' trips out. As much for me as for her ha ha. Anyway enough about me it's brill to hear even in your posts that you are getting so much better too :) And well done on the Christmas pressie. xxx
Thinking of you Betsie, you must be a tower of strength to your friend at this very sad time. Sending huge hugs:) Hope your DD got off ok, will she be back for Easter ?
Peppapig think I'd agree with the lovelies rainbow drops would go stale, but the chocolate buttons would be fine. Let us know how you get on, I bought the cello cones 2011 still done nothing with them although they are on my to-do-list.
Feisty hope DH is feeling better, poor thing only time will tell if its generally unwell or his diet/meds :( Nowhere near as important but I've been following SW diet as you know and the increase in fruit and veg requires plenty more fluids, might be worth looking DH fluid intake? It's a brill idea to invite your in laws to a pescatarian banquet :) Bet your MiL will be very supportive and interested in the diet and of course eager to help. X
Go girl I totally agree an aldi chocolate rabbit is a perfect idea xxx

I've still got the snowman and snowdog on sky plus so me and DD (8) curled up in bed to watch it before bedtime - and yes, it felt a little bit like Christmas!

I've not had much luck in spotting any bargains as yet for Christmas 2013 but my job is moving and I'll be better placed for charity shops etc - I'm also on a much tighter budget which should make my eyes a bit more peeled I hope!

The snow has melted significantly and the roads are clear - as is the car so no excuses - off to work, hope everyone has a lovely day.

Peppapig - have never made them before, but I know that lots of sweets go stale quite quickly after opening. Perhaps the night before may be best?

freespirit - please do pop a photo of your bakes on for us, could do with some inspiration ;)

moneysavingmumofone - I fear it may be too much iron :( His warfarin levels are dramatically affected by leafy greens etc, which he has been juicing lots of  Good luck with your ebay sales :)

Trendyjenny - unless these hats and scarves are elf sized, you are a knitting machine! Would really love to see some pics :)

Nana so excited for your next trip to oz! What a lovely thing for your son to do :) I will speak to DH about his liquid intake - I think the caffeine withdrawal (huge tea drinkers in our house, mine with almond milk of course ;) ) has hit us hard. I have had a migraine for the last two days - given in with a cup of tea this morning.

Popping to the doctors this morning and then to my old job to pick up some money they owe me, might have a peek at the puppy stuffs.

Can't remember if I said or not the puppy we will be getting will be another boxer, this is part of the reason for a trip to the doctors again, I'm feeling just generally rubbish and I'm convinced I've got Lupus, they've tested before but I seem worse now than I did then, plus with all this cold weather I'm not doing well at managing my pain with my joints, I mean if I'm at home then I'm ok with it, but at work not always, plus I'm thirsty all the time and things are tasting funny too. Anyway must get off of here and blow dry my hair (chore!) as I can't leave the house with wet hair in this weather.

Catch up with you all later xx

    :j Happy birthday Chickywiggle. :j

Freespirit66 I have no idea. But I know I also have to pay another £25 a month towards my rent from April. So I really need to find another £100 a month. I am sure that makes me worse off than when I wasn't working. How they can say you are better off in employment is beyond me. If you also add the fact I don't get free school meals for dd and the petrol I use to get to work, I am definitely worse off. FSMs must be at least £10 a week and I use £20 a week petrol, so there is another £120 every 4 weeks I wouldn't need to find if I stayed at home.
I best get cracking on that camper, because if this carries on, we may be living in it next year.
