NANAMIA how awful for you to have a panic attack on the plane, it must have been very frightening
RISKYB i have subscribed to your blog, the recipes look fantastic
OMO is it me or are you having trouble racking up nectar points on the nectarads site, the first couple of weeks i had no trouble getting to 250 then each week it has just gone down and down, this week i have only been able to rack up 49 points
I have spent today watching programmes i have recorded on my sky+ as we are cancelling it tomorrow, i love my tv and films and know i will miss it, but at £53 a month we just cant justify it anymore, then next thing when my contract ends i am cancelling my mobile phone contract and just buying a sim only deal, that will save about £25 a month, hopefully, then in may when contract ends on my broadband and homephone i am changing that, we pay £40 a month with BT and i have seen a few cheaper ones, i think i can half that, then we have virtually MSEd everything, food shopping, bills, the lot. I have got so much information and tips off of this site, it has helped so much!:money:
Yaye freespirit. Thank you.:j
Vigin have very good sim only deals.
Iplayer and 4OD are good for free tv.
and love film have subscription packets starting from about 6 per month for the latest releases. And mostly you get a month free as well if you are a new customer. Maybe worth asking for a few months subscription for a xmas present??0 -

Happy sleepy Sunday everyone! Things are still abut mental but I'm not letting them get to me anymore.
I do have a question for you all though how do I go about claiming tax I shouldn't have paid from a company who has changed its name, basically the woman closed the other business and took on a new name how do I claim that back caus I'm paying out in tax where shouldn't be. Also it's too late now to change my tax code for lush for this year but again I have tax to claim back and I've no idea how. Someone else I know says she sends her p45s in to the tax office and then they send her a cheque for the money.
Sorry that was abit ranty love and hugs all round0 -

ameyturtleyou should just be able to contact your tax office and send them your P60. They should then be able to see all your records and pay you what you're due.2015 £2 Saver #82

OH and I spent most of the night avoiding his older sister and coming up with strategies to make sure she doesn't ruin our day in a couple of weeks!
Chicken pox is going around ... *not to be taken seriously, mostly*
Welcome home Nanamia
Coming up on my 12 week scan... very excited to get a good look at this little person making me ill and causing me backache and shooting leg pains. ARGH pregnancy is a blessed and glorious and horrible state to be in, especially when the Duchess of Cambridge is twice as pregnant and half as big! How very dare she be so neat and able to walk in those heels?!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

A lovely lady I work with is at the same stage of pregnancy and was complaining she looks double as pregnant. You must remember though the Kate is probably being waited on hand and foot along with an army of specialists to take care of her. How on earth the rest of us are supposed to compete I don't know.
Argh I have been really, really naughty todayI went and bought a second hand phone as I "needed" instagram for the business and it isn't supported on my current phone. My blackberry is wonderful and I really had little to complain about with it, that is until I saw all my friends beautiful phones last night and the green eyed monster struck. I haven't felt the need to have a new model phone in years, not sure why I have now. The phone was £75 (it's an older HTC model) and I traded in a very old phone I found in the drawer for £18. I've paid out £57 and I know that if I trade in my blackberry for cash I can get most of this back but I'm paranoid I will dislike the new phone and then be stuck with it. It was a total impulse buy too! Joys of saving mean I really want to spend money now I know I can't

Feisty What has happened to you ?
New laptop, new phone, yesterday you splashed out while shopping.
Stop !!!!! :rotfl:
Have spoken to dd today about going to Oxford St when we get to London, and have decided to go to Lakeside on the way to the hotel.
I hate Primark in Oxford St, I don't really like the one at Lakeside, but out of the 2 it wins.
Also if we go to the one in London, we will have to carry it round with us all day. This way it will be in the car.
I didn't fancy going to dinner with large torn paper bags. Not that I'm snobby, but it wasn't the look I was aiming for.:rotfl:
I feel better about it now. It's silly, the things that make me fret.
Off to change the Saturday post.0 -
Trendyjenny - I've done him "Go to the football match" before, don't like repeating the same things for people though.
Llama trekking, do you ride a llama doing that?
Ameyturtle - have you tried ringing up the tax office to ask what you should do? I've always found them to be very helpful and lovely, once you can get through that is as they can get very busy.
Caitlyn - my god, what a shocking way to behave!
Nanamia - welcome back to the UK and just ease yourself back in gradually, don't overdo it if you're still tired. You did go halfway round the world! Good to hear your DSIL is doing so well too.
OMO - good call there with the shopping I think. I went to Oxford St once, thought it was rubbish! Far too crowded and cramped, disliked how there's still a road down the middle with traffic so you're squished onto the pavements, hugely overrated.
My arms hurt from shopping yesterday, I think I overdid it and didn't even really buy THAT much. Got a good bargain though, bought a top that was marked as reduced to about half the original price in a sale, but when I took it to the till the lad said "This has been reduced..." and I'm thinking, yeah I can see that, then he finished "... it's now £3". Yay!0
