Had a look in the entertainer just to see what they had and picked up a jake and neverland pirate game for the bargain explorer leapad thing i got dd4 for xmas for £6 :O though looking online it looks like it was a shop missprice cause only the ebooks are reduced that low, oops. Shall get her one other game i think as she has her nabi tablet for learning really, this is just to stop her attacking her sisters 3ds etc.

Have had a lovely unexpected bill of £350 hit our doorstep this afternoon
We own a flat and the last property management company were terrible, I am 99% sure we paid this last June but new management are stating that unless we can prove without a doubt that the payment was for this bill then we have to pay again

Hug to you MsGigglewick, hope you are feeling better xx
BBThree I saw the Animal mug, its very cute! I got the blue one with cute Stitch on one side and 'Im very naughty' on the other ...
sorry ive not fully caught up yet, just sneaking on before I go fetch the kids, its blowing a gale here! anyone who was thinking about using yankeec'ndle.co.uk on their sale, I just got my first order from them and really impressed, everything beautifully packaged up and protected, I got en email this morning telling me what time they would deliver and they did, really impressed with their service0 -
Technically I was right and I had paid this bill - sadly they used my money to offset DH's account
DH had 3 consecutive months with the old management company where they kept refusing his standing order of £98 - being a typical man (and against my warnings) he saw it as a reason to celebrate the 'extra' money and spent it. In his defense he did speak to them several times and they kept telling him it was fine (I didn't agree). So when the new company received my large sum of money, they took it to clear DHs 'missed' payments. Of course DH is now storming about as if it's my fault - I haven't said 'I told you so', but I am really miffed that I am going to end up having to bail him out after I warned him this was going to happen.
The thing that really blows is that it is me doing all of the saving for the house - all said and done, I can see me putting in about 80% of the savingsPlus as I had to pay £400 for the vet op a few weeks ago, it was agreed that he would pay the next ground rent bill - he's clearly not going to do that - thank goodness for separate bank accounts!

Oh no! I bet you're starving, you poor thing!
I'm refraining from calling DH on it, simply because the standing order problems happened almost two years ago  New management company have only just brought it to our attention  Ah well, it's not due until March and I have lots of work to pay my share[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Hi all
snugglebunny- hopefully the new neighbour will be nice.
BBTHREE- how nice does your hubby sound, that's such a sweet thing for him to do. Hope you get your pain issues resolved soon.
omo -how is your son doing now?
msgigglewick-that bed sounds brilliant. I have seen pictures of those beds but don't know anyone that actually has one. Hope your jaw is giving you less trouble today.
Eljaycock-sorry to hear you were ill on your birthday, but sure the surprise holiday from hubby will make up for that.
Hope everyone else is ok. Been working today and shattered as I didn't get to sleep until 5:30am then alarm went off at 7am. So quick popped in to catch up then tea and an early night for me.
On flat front o/h rang them today and the estate agents said there is currently tenants in the property(usually it says this on website but it didn't) and they are on holiday so once they get back they will be in touch about a viewing. This helps us bit actually as we cannot give notice until 14th of whichever month anyway.
Thinking of arranging some viewing of others in the mean time just to see what's out there and keep our option open.13 projects in 2013 0/130
