Valentines day - why don't you just cook something special? Like lobster or nice steak? We don't bother, too commercialised, lol. I rather have little presents from him any other day of the year than something overpriced on valentines day.

Valentines day - you could do a nice, lovey-dubey printable and frame it? There's lots online. Or a nice picture of the 2 of you in a frame? I owe u cheques? Could be saucy, up to you. Box of heart shaped biscuits?0

bunbun-I would never pay full price for a Dr Who figure either, most of ours were reduced and most were second hand. Love Dr Who bargains! :j
We dont do anything for valentines day really, tbh Im not really a romantic type of person. Hate slushy stuff lol. Ill probably bake OH a cake if I have enough time. Its my uncles birthday and my friends on valentines so focus on them more.'They only had one cow!'0 -

Will need to catch up again.:o
But been to DDs parents evening, Those teachers do make me laugh.
History-
'Yes she is at/got an A* but she didn't get 100% of the questions right, she got 98.6% right, so still a little room for improvement. :rotfl:
She meant it as well, she gave DD revision to do every night for the next exam on Wed.
She is only at a B/C in Maths, but has now has 3 extra lessons a week, instead of ITC as she can't get any higher in that (Distinction).:D
Just as well, as she has to get at least a B in Maths it be a teacher in any subject.
Her Media teacher took pity on us and said he was happy with her A grade, and she do any extra work the other teachers wanted her to do in his class. As long as she kept quiet about it.
Off to dish up the kids dinner now and then catch up on here.0 -
Evening all

Totally agree with you.
When I thought OH was in the shower earlier he had in fact quietly left to go to the shops in the freezing cold and buy Twinings teabags for me as I had run out. I only realised when came back through with a cuppa for me - that's a more useful present than a dozen roses in my book:lovethoug
