  • Hi OMO, thanks for the link to Adpoints.

Freespirit66 Do you have a Sainsburys near you ?

I have started doing their Adpoints on-line. You can get up to 250 points (£1.25) a week. I am saving all mine for next Christmas. It is not much when you look at it weekly but it could be nearly £60 by December.

And as they say - Every Little Helps :o Oh wrong shop :o

Been out to Argos and bought one of those inflatable gym balls.
Need it to kick my core up the back side some more, its the comfiest thing I have ever sat on!! Good for the pains in my hips/sit bones. Obviously can't sit on it all day as core would then be in agony so think I may have to get one of those rubber rings for the sofa :rotfl:

my boss will see it that way.

Well I have had a hectic but wonderful weekend. Spent yesturday morning taking my freind to a from the garage for MOT,
we then went into town to get the usual bits I need every saturday, (fruit and veg from market). We both had a little money
evaluation, think I need to look hard at saving, really want to buy my flat this year, trying to save for a deposit. Any tips guys??

Then Today I have been making and baking loads, that should last us all week fingers crossed because I am nackered.
I am going to work tomorrow for a rest. Watching dancing on ice trying to relax. Just going through making sure I have

To all planning holidays, you deserve them, everyone works hard an needs a little rest every now and then.

Malachite is also known as the midwife stone as it is said to help ease a variety of pregnancy symptoms whilst nurturing the baby in the womb and assisting in labour.

Here's the link to all of my tree's if you fancy a proper nosy ;)

    Enchanted Forest

    65mm x 65mm heart punch

It's a little pricey at £11 - if you were only going to make one garland, I would advise you just buy multicoloured hearts for scrapbooking - you can get 30 from ebay for £2.50

Your items are lovely Feisty and so is your wedding dress :)

jakesbakescakes-Sorry to hear about your cat. So sad when animals are pining for their friend. :( xxx

Feisty-Ive had Pontins holidays that have been great fun and Pontins holiday sites are a state lol so even if its not up to scratch you can have a great time anyway. Saying that every caravan site Ive stayed at has been clean and safe so far! Have you typed in the place on google map? I did that with our Skegness holiday site as it had some iffy reviews on tripadvisor and its actually one of the much posher sites in Skegness that we remember going past last year and thinking ooh thats nice! (from the outside anyway lol) I love google maps lol.

Well The Hobbit was actually brilliant! A really exciting film, if rather long for my fidgety, restless DS! Even better that Aidan Turner (from Bring Human) was in it! Yum. :D Also got some bargains, mini shower gel sets, eyelash sets, bath fizzer, mini soap, metal bottle openers, Minnie mouse body puff 50p each, nail stickers and xmas straws 25p each (from Wilkos) and Squinkies set, Mickey Mouse baby snacks (2 for £1 for nephews easter egg hunt as hes too little for too much chocolate!) 6 greeting cards, lovely 50's pin up style compact mirror, tweezers and the cutest matchbox nail files all in one set all from Poundland. I think one of my SILs stockings is basically done now except for choc, fruit etc. :j

Am rather excited as B&M had packs of 8 vinyl floor tiles (oak effect) for £1 before christmas and they're usually £1 for 4 in places like Poundland. (usually £1.99 for 8 in B&M) Didnt have the money then but went in today and they have a big pile of them left! We need about 55 packs and they just about have that amount. Going to go back first thing and they'll hopefully still be there. Our front room and hallway floor are already vinyl tiles and they've lasted really well but have been tatty for at least 2 years now and makes the whole place look horrible so very happy to be changing them. :)

  • Have had a sad week, our boy cat died unexpectedly on monday eveing due to a massive blood clot that left him paralysed. Whilst this was very sad the vet assured us it was pain-free for him and it certainly was quick. Perhaps more sad, our girl cat (his sister) has been wandering the house all week meewwing and trying to find him - has really pulled at my heart strings. The children seem to be taking it well though and youngest DS age 5 has triumpuntly announced "we can get a kitten now!!!" hmmmm

So sorry for your loss jakesbakescakes

jakesbakescakes, that is so sad. Sending you my sympathies x

Have signed up to the Daily Mail holidays, but after looking at a few reviews on tripadvisor I will admit to being a little hesitant. I understand that you get what you pay for, but I'm wondering if we should should just spend an extra £50 and get a self catering cottage instead.

I have been using the Daily Mail and The Sun holiday offers for around 6 years now, and can say that I have enjoyed every park that I have been to so far. Each is different, and each have their upsides and downsides, but on the whole I can say we have had lovely holidays.

DS and I went to Holland and Butlins Bognor last year.

We're off to Paris this year for a 7 night holiday the second week of the Easter holidays courtesy of the Daily Mail, and to Park Resorts Southview for a 4 night break over the May mid term break courtesy of The Sun :j:j:j Both holidays are to parks we have not been to before. I like trying out different places each time.

Portugal is a possibility for next year.
