I am soooooooooo not used to being at home right now. All those evenings I was at work, thinking of what I could be doing at home. Now I am here, I have no idea what to do and really no inclination to do anything.
    I am lost.

Ds has just phoned from his bedroom to tell me we are being burgled.
2 years of reminding him I work evenings, and now 2 more years reminding I don't work evenings, and I am the burglar making the toast.:rotfl:

OMG There is an Ice Cream Van outside.

    :rotfl:
Ice Cream vans in winter are a very cold place to be.
I have those days... lost with so much to do.. not sure where to start.. So I don't get started. Then I spend the next day kicking myself for not getting on!
We get a van round, very hard

I've just checked m3tcheck for the weather forecast and we have sleet/snow on Friday. Unusual for here , but its the run up before DS has his serial casting so not only nearly 16 year old DS with both legs in plaster for at least a month and him being far taller than me, we now have added snow to add to the chaos.
My DD thinks it will be hysterical and told me to keep the video camera at hand for added amusement !

Feeling sorry for myself tonight. :(

I think I may have an abcess. I've been in pain for a couple of days but ignored it hoping it would get better. Today I'm in agony! Can't take any time off work this week so gotta wait til my day off on Friday before I can book dentist app. Nurofen seems to be dulling the pain to a throb at the mo.

Hope everyone else is having a better evening. :)

Have you tried Neurofen Plus? It has codeine in as well. When I hurt my back I found it more effective than just normal neurofen.

I don't suffer from depression/anxiety but I do have days when I feel really low and lonely. I have friends but no best friend (my BF from school lives in France and communication is very limited). I feel there must be something wrong with me and I am not a nice person as people don't seem to stay in touch (university, friends who have moved away). I seem to make all the effort to stay in touch then nothing. sorry not sure where that came from...
    !
This sounds just like my "friend" situation, I have plenty of friends, but nobody close enough to confide in! i tried so hard for years to keep in touch / visit my best-mate-since-school when we moved away 7 years ago, but eventually had to give in as she just never made any effort. now its just xmas & bday cards, and i miss her. My closest friends nowdays are dh, dd & mum!!

My OH works permanent nights so I know how lovely it is to have the bed to yourself ;) I always sleep badly when he's off as I'm not used to someone else wriggling/elbowing me/duvet stealing/insert as applicable here! Getting some more ideas together for presents on the kindle as I think of things, I'm totally not sure about one though as my friend will be having her baby in about March time and has no idea of the colour at the moment! There's also likely to be the christening before christmas so need to get something suitable - got her last one a lovely version of the Winnie the Pooh stories.

dh does 6 nights, 4 days, when he's on nights it takes me till night 4or5 to get used to being alone, then he's on days & takes me till night 3or 4 to get used to sharing again!! its a constant lack-of-sleep battle, yet dh NEVER has any problems getting to sleep, and staying asleep!!!

hope your feeling better soon x

I think my old smoking habit has been well & truly replaced by tea drinking ... must have had at least 8 cups today, and just about to go & mash a pot to last me the evening!! Oh well, at least its a healthier habit!! And cheaper!!!

    Xmas Saver!
:j Found 4 crisp new £10 notes in my secret purse tonight. Must have put them away for my nieces and nephews birthday. I am thinking my secret purse may be too secret.

Fell asleep again this evening and now have a very sore ear where my glasses have dug in.:(

Am watching Midsomer Murders now, so that's me sorted til bed time.:rotfl:
In my dreams. Bet I'm up half the night again.:o

My fitbit arrived today, going to set it up tonight. Can't believe how tiny it is! No wonder they can get lost easily  No way will I be putting it on a belt loop. Might use a necklace chain to secure it, so if it unclips, it will still be attached and dangle (does that make sense?)

Diet doesn't start till Monday but I'm going to start wearing it tomorrow, so I can compare before/after as it were.

My diet doesn't start until February and I've been wearing mine since Christmas :D I am always bottom of the leaderboard :rotfl:
