sorry to hear so many of you suffer from depression/anxiety and huge hugs for you all. my OH was off work for 6 months with depression last year and was on antidepressants. he hasn't taken them for a while and fingers crossed seems alot better. whoever said (sorry I cant remember:o) it is best to talk to someone who has been through it is right. however supportive and understanding i am it is hard to really understand what my OH is going through.

I don't suffer from depression/anxiety but I do have days when I feel really low and lonely. I have friends but no best friend (my BF from school lives in France and communication is very limited). I feel there must be something wrong with me and I am not a nice person as people don't seem to stay in touch (university, friends who have moved away). I seem to make all the effort to stay in touch then nothing. sorry not sure where that came from...

day 2 of my healthy eating regime...bit better than yesterday! I ate normal meals (just less) as normal but only had fruit for snacks and no sweets/chocolate/etc. I was SO hungry when I went to bed i had to have something to eat or I would never have got to sleep. I must have had more calories today as I am not nearly as hungry. I am still trying to decide about the fitbit!

I don't think I actually suffer with depression. Just sometimes it all gets a bit much and just feel sorry for myself.

Why have I got an alcoholic mum?
Why have I got a son with ASD ?
Why did I end up a single parent ?
Why do I have to watch every penny ?
    WHY WHY WHY ?

Sometimes I think I must have been a really bad person in a past life, to have this life now. (Ps I don't really believe in reincarnation)
  • OMO could you finish the girls hampers for under £55? This I'm sure I know the answer to :D
but it would mean shopping through the year I think it'd be nice to have 5 done that you could potentially get wrapped already.

I am going to buy my Best Friend a personalised hatbox and put little bits in it and when it is full she is done for Christmas

am feeliing better today I didn't get told off at the hospital but I will have to cut my fingernails so that I can do my thumb exercises properly.

Nanamia-Thankyou I just feel so ill and low lately. So glad you're taking your Ipad with you. :) xx

Snugglebunny8-How did your DD get on today? Hope your DS feels better soon. :( I am hopefully going to save on savings cards as I know it will get spent if I save 'cash' but if you have better willpower than me I would say cash is best then you can spend it anywhere. :)

DomRavioli-Wonderful news, best of luck with the IVF. xx

Feisty-I wish you all the best on your TTC journey. xxx

OMO-I cant drive yet lol but regularly feel like just getting up and going somewhere. Anywhere but here.

My heart goes out to everyone suffering with anxiety/depression. It is truly debilitating. Ive suffered since a teen and know how dark it can be. x

Went to Sainsburys today and got some bargains, lovely 20p wrapping paper mainly. Cant resist shiny paper. :o Made me feel better for 20 minutes anyway!

My fitbit arrived today, going to set it up tonight. Can't believe how tiny it is! No wonder they can get lost easily  No way will I be putting it on a belt loop. Might use a necklace chain to secure it, so if it unclips, it will still be attached and dangle (does that make sense?)

Diet doesn't start till Monday but I'm going to start wearing it tomorrow, so I can compare before/after as it were.

Thanks for all sharing how you all feel. I wouldn't wish the dark feelings on anyone, but it's nice in a way to know I'm not alone.

My OH works permanent nights so I know how lovely it is to have the bed to yourself ;) I always sleep badly when he's off as I'm not used to someone else wriggling/elbowing me/duvet stealing/insert as applicable here! Getting some more ideas together for presents on the kindle as I think of things, I'm totally not sure about one though as my friend will be having her baby in about March time and has no idea of the colour at the moment! There's also likely to be the christening before christmas so need to get something suitable - got her last one a lovely version of the Winnie the Pooh stories.
