  • hi all
thank you for you replies re prices for body massage, i am hoping to start something from home in the near future and I REALLY need the extra cash.
    thanks
  • Bhatti The local college does a full body massage (60 mins) for £10. This sounds very cheap but probably because the pupils are learning not qualified and it is also a so called deprived area, which also has 3 nail bars not including college and they charge £20-£25 for basic acrylic nails. Extra for colour, art gems etc.

Own my own Robbie is lovely you must be so proud. I love the name mimi, I have never heard it before it is all nanna and granny where I live. Mimi is much nicer x btc

this very much so. Morning Nanamia

    I'm OK.
Came in from work yesterday and went straight to sleep. Woke at about 8, had a quick peek, but looking at the screen hurt my eyes.
Feeling a bit blah, guess its the january blues (actually could happily sit and cry but don't ask me why shrugs)

That's a horrible feeling. I often feel like that for no real reason, although I am not really a crying person, IYKWIM.
Does any one else sometimes feel like just getting in the car and driving away for no reason ? With no destination. Or is that just me ?:o

Bit of advice needed. I was going to make the girls on my list Choc Hampers (as you know), BUT
I bought 2 of these last week, for dd and dil. I picked them up today and they are lovely.

    http://www.boots.com/en/Sheer-Sanctuary-Indulgence_1273687/

And I have a feeling these are going to be going down to £11 this week

    http://www.boots.com/en/Ted-Baker-Star-Quality_1267308/

Now I am undecided what to do. Most of the bits I have already bought for the hampers we can use here during the year, and I think my nieces would love the Vanity case.
So if they go down to £11 do I just buy 5 and be practically finished, or do I carry on with Hampers ?

Hows the packing going Nanamia ? Any room in your case for me ? I promise I will behave :D I can wear orange and be an extra pressie for dgd :D:D

Thanks for your wise words. It's difficult to put yourself first isn't it? I'm like you and want to appear as supermum, but in reality I'm falling to bits. I'm a natural worrier. I'm even worried that DD (age7) will be in danger as she will be in the room on the bottom floor of our new house. It's a 3 story house with 3 beds on top, living room and kitchen on the middle floor and a another lounge and bedroom on the ground floor. I worry about how she will get out in a fire and what if someone broke in. My Oh thinks I'm being unrantional, but it seems practical to me. But it's made me think that we should of chosen another house. Just thought like that, that seem to bring me down and pile on more anxiety.

The move is adding a lot of stress. But I'm also looking forward to it. I'm moving to SW Scotland. Ive been up near Aberdeen for 2 years. And moving back close to home.

I had these fears when we moved as my 3 kids may aswell have been sleeping in a different house they were so far away from my bedroom. I used a baby monitor and it put my mind at rest as I would have heard a break in or a fire etc. hth x
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

That is wonderful :T We may be looking into me egg donating so we can get a reduced bash at private IVF (NHS have said no treatment with them until I'm 30 :() I would just like to have my reoccurred miscarriages looked into first - would hate to pay out and then lose another :(

Nana, so glad you will be with us still :)

Best bargain of the week has to be 80 yards / 73.15 metres / 7315 cms of assorted ribbon for £1.65!!!!! :rotfl:

    Hi Feisty!

I'm only 27, but it has been granted on medical grounds as I will need some serious surgery in the next 5 years, so fingers crossed it will work!

OMO - glad to hear you're ok :)

    Hi everyone :)

Not been on for a week or so, been rather poorly, bogged down with uni, applying for jobs and general post-christmas stuff.
Anyway, onto better news. I had a phone call this morning from the IVF centre, we have been approved for a full cycle of treatment, so we may have a Holly and the Ivy baby, I will keep you all posted as and when I know - we don't start until the end of Jan.

Hope you are all keeping well, and hello to the newbies and lurkers :)

fantastic news! keep us posted, were all crossing fingers for you, and already whipping out knitting patterns for xmas newborn outfits lol xx

YEs! though i've not driven my car for over a year :S i really want to get back into it, as its a stupid fear really, just something thats come over me that makes me feel i can't do it :S lol reality sets in though 4 children here for one and a dh who'd well fall apart. Him having depression doesn't help matters at time... He sent me a text at lunch time just saying 'love you' so he's obviously noticed im feeling a bit blue....... just lots going on in my little mind i guess. Glad im not alone though.

As for the ted baker bags, i keep eyeing them up, if they go to £11 i might nab one or two if i can , one for me anyway lol got enough points so could do it online if i can't get the ones in store. i think if you can afford it to get the 5 and be nearly done ;)

This is how I was for the best part of two years I spent the first 6 months trying to deal with it on my own before I told anyone then once I had my family's support it got a little better but not much just listen to what your body is telling you you need. I also know a lot of people don't understand so it is always better to talk to people who suffer from it!! Both my mum and dad suffer with depression my dad very badly he has tried to take his life a number of times including last may when he tried to hang himself and ended up in a coma for a month but he is getting help now and doing a lot better!! My mum was pretty hard to deal with as when her depression and anxiety was bad she would lock herself in the house and not go out she only goes out now when she has too so I ha her moaning that I didn't want to end up like her and stuff which didn't help as I felt like I had let her down but once I explained I her she understood and stuck by me!! I still have bad days where I won't get out of bed so I don't but I'm a hell of a lot better and done most of it on my own by listening to myself talking to people who understand!! I still have trouble sleeping but that comes and goes!! I honestly think the best thin to do is talk about how you feel and try and figure out why!! I kept a note book and wrote everything down then read it through and tried to work out why and what I could do to change that!! I still have that notebook!! I'm meant to be on antidepressants but they honestly don't work for me they make me feel like a zombie so I just don't take them ooops!! I'm sure we can all help each other out when we are feeling down and anxious!!

We dont realise how strong we are deep down, we just compare ourselves to other people who dont suffer from this, my sister is the total opposite to me strong, fights back, stands up for herself, and she can never understand how i feel, shes not horrible about it but just cant comprehend it, you already seem as if you are being kind to yourself, im sorry about your mum and your dad thats very sad, i have a notebook too and stick in cards that people have wrote really nice things about me, i have to take my antidepressants but i wouldnt say they have got me to this place today. I always find it funny that we know just what to say to other people but never apply the same advice to ourselves. Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

27 too ;) Sadly we are classed as unexplained (I think DH may have something wrong but NHS won't look into it, despite bad results :() Keeping it all crossed for you!

OMO - I feel like that constantly. When I finished work today I had to stop at a junction. To the left was home and to the right was a complete mystery - the urge to just turn right was almost over-whelming! When things are getting too tough, I will often tell poor DH that if I'm not here when he finishes work, I've run away (poor soul, my feelings are generally never caused by him).
