thanks to all for your happy messages. dd has been round today and been to a carol concert with me for my son. then she came back to mine and i think ive found the key to this!!! we made pom pom animals and kept busy. we had this to focus on and this helped. its the first time in ages i havenet roared when she left.so my plan for christmas day is to do board games and the like to keep us all busy. it gives less talking time and makes my brain work and not over think things. i know this doesnt help the problem deep down but ive been so tearful and depressed that if we can meet and me and my boy feel ok when shes left then thats a massive plus for us. my husband sent her a message ( unbeknown to me) saying he loves her and hes missed her and so pleased shes coming christmas day and she responded in the same way so that was very very nice.
do you know what.... i see light at the end of the tunnel

See... I told you it gets easier.. the next bombshell we got a year later was.. 'can we borrow the (wicker moses) basket?' ... Hopefully yours will have more sense than mine!!!

Excellent news that hubby has sorted his head out a bit!

wuvvies I am so pleased for you that things are looking up for you and that you have had a good day with your DD

his missus I hope your dad is able to come home soon. hope you managed to get a tree, that is a lovely idea for your mum

feisty glad you have had a good day, enjoy the malibu

nic2975 have you tried sainsburys or tesco for jammies? they both had tartan ones in a while ago - or were you wanting more traditional Christmas?

the book club went better than expected. I had a list of questions and the discussion seemed to flow. I chose "fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe" I enjoyed it - not sure everyone in the group did though lol

I slipped yesterday morning on an icy patch whilst I was walking the dog. I ended up flat on my back. I am in agony today. My neck and shoulders ache and everytime I move to get up off the settee my stomach muscles are so painful. I hope it eases soon:(

Off to see the snowman ballet tomorrow. Ds is v excited, he's been checking out clips on utube all week. Plan on a nice lunch and then maybe a wander round the southbank Christmas market, weather permitting.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

nan hope your ok my lovely , you mrs need to allocate a bit more "me time" for yourself!

wuvvies the only time me and cope together is when occupied with a project/dinner/topic which isn't family/blame related! So similar to you and DD baby steps and all that but so happy you can see the light xx hugs

I'm so shattered and feel really weird I don't know why! No win bed at 5:50am and have to be up out and dressed by 11am

Sorry to whinge again but my sinuses are even worse!!! I don't know what else I can do 3 rounds of antibiotics over the counter and prescription sprays/rinse steam , hot drinks. Cold drinks , hot flannel cold flannel! I'm seeing asthma clinic on Monday maybe they have a solution!!

  • Passes junior j some Vicks... Just notice you mention asthma. Have you tried monteklukast (that's not spelt right will double check spelling for you) it stops the sinuses reacting as much basically. They use it for asthmatics and those with bad allergy's but if you are constantly getting sinusitus I don't see why they won't you too. Xx

  • merry morning , (ish) sore throat, blocked nose, croaky voice and a cough but not important, the grandnibs are coming today.
  • yippee do dah, need to get up and clean and bake and get all ready, also take other laptop across the road to friends compuer literate son, to fix the password problem. (it has stopped recognising my password and wont let me log on.
The last of my orders went last night, so another little sum to go towards next Christmas. I probably wont get on here much now till they have gone back to china, as DIL tends to monopolise the laptop whenever she is awake, so just in case, ''merry Christmas, everyone''
