Good news about the furniture Fiesty. Don't panic a out anything else, there are still 4 days to get organised. Just do the bits in the flat that will be seen, forget about the rest. Wrapping doesn't take as long as you think. I managed to get half the kids stuff wrapped yesterday afternoon. Am doing the rest today. X

its seems really quiet in here recently

last day at work for me today, going to give the kids in 'my' class stickers and their stocking today. Theyve ALL got sweets in because they are all good. busy this afternoon. have arranged DD3 fiancee to give me a lift - getting really excited now
need to do some cleaning and tidying this morning so it all nice for the weekend and not too much more to do then other than last shop and upkeep tidy.

have a brilliant day all, but dont stress, if you cant do it all deligate you should not be the only one rushing round. and pencil yourself some 'me' time in you deserve it

Anyone know where the cheapest but nice Christmassy jammies are on the high street? I was going to go to B&M but there's aren't Christmassy. I'm going to Primark tomorrow. I know they have nice ones, just wondered if there are any 3 for 2's on that I can look at today? They need to be Christmas themed :-)

I wrote my Christmas cards last night for the first time in about 8 years I havent made my own ! I also haven't made truffles for my friends .... I don't know what's happened really

It sounds like dad is having a drain fitted this aft, so fingers crossed he can come home soon. I reckon the nurses will be glad to see the back of the grumpy so and so

Didn't get quite as much tidying done as I'd hoped last night and I've invited mum round for tea tomorrow so I'd better get cleaning tonight!

OMO- I was thinking about those people at the Apollo too. Horrendous to think that some thing so awful can happen on a 'night out' (same as heli crash). Echo your wishes that everyone makes a recovery.

Last of the wrapping done, one more pressie and 3 cards to deliver then I am all done APART from my hound! I wrapped animal pressies for moms and sis's pets and my cat and only then realised that I haven't got Ruby anything! Will get something to wrap up for her tomorrow (sad I know!)


Next 4 days are going to be filled with shopping(for mom too) and family visits so probably wont get much chance to pop back on. I will try tho if only to read (if not to post) and see what you lot have been up to,

Well I finished work Wednesday so yesterday I did.....absolutely nothing :j

Well thats a lie, I had my eyebrows and nails done in prep for christmas do tonight. As I am staying down in Plymouth other half is going to finish the papering tonight around the fire, then we can paint it although I think I may leave that until after Christmas as step daughter and her other half arrive tomorrow and we are out tomorrow night and sunday and sunday night oh and monday and I don't fancy painiting Christmas eve. Treated myself to the number 7 box that is offer of the week with points I love it
Off now to pick up colleagues we are startig early lol, well I have to limit intake as also on antibiotics due to the dreaded tonsillitis too :cool:
