Wow noway I can't believe baby Franklin is one! Oh my how time flies doesn't it. Fancy you remembering that Freespirit OMG I can't believe the dramas of last night. Thank heavens everybody is ok. DD to the rescue, she's such a blessing isn't she. It must've been very scary for you all. DSs party sounds very swanky doesn't it and what a bonus- an iPad wow, you'd love it, he may share! I'm not surprised you took to the sofa, rightly so. Doesn't bare thinking about what might have happened. xxx

Yes she has stopped phoning but FM is here so can't really say it has been a quiet evening. Although he is now in bed. Got him a day early as we are in London on Sunday.
Oh and the coat rack fell over into the lounge and broke a stag
I keep telling the kids to even their coats out, but they still keep putting them all on one side.

Oh no not a stag, typical your favourite things always get broken first, hope you have a lovely day in london tomorrow with DD x

Hi everyone, thanks for the birthday wishes, Happy Birthday Fiesty x
Well the time is flying by, we never seem to have stopped over the last couple of weeks, but now have nearly all pressies bought, most wrapped, alcohol bought, have been on 2 Xmas do's, have been to kids nativity, christmas fayre at school, open afternoon's, assemblies, the list seems to be endless!
Am really in the Xmas spirit now, but really think I may start to have an unofficial birthday in the summer, just seems a bit too close to Xmas for it to feel birthdayish, everyone manic, am getting house ready for arrival of in-laws who have changed their minds again about coming and are now coming for a week and a half (OMG I may be a raving alcoholic by next weeked!!!!).
Have not had a chance to catch up for a while so hope everyone is getting into it now, and hugs to anyone and everyone who needs them.
Off to declutter spare bedroom and them carol singing this afternoon! See what I mean about not being birthdayish!!!
    Hugs to all xxx

Cant you have a nice drink and takeaway tonight to make up for today? Might feel a bit birthdayish x

Im having a bit of a chilled day today- im waiting for an Argos delivery which will be here anywhere from now till 9pm ! i cant really grumble though as i only placed the order at tea time yesterday.
Had my dog to the vets yesterday as he has been limping apparently one knee hasn't formed properly and keeps "clicking " and will eventually start to repeatedly dislocate:eek:. He has been put on meds that are meaty tasting and he loves but we have to not let him run around so walks only no ball chasing!! then we go back in 2 weeks to see if he will need surgery.
Thank god for pet insurance !
Good luck to anyone going shopping today according to news paper reports today is "shopageddon" day !

Aaah hope your dog doesnt need an op CHRISSY bless him x

    Happy birthday Feisty amd Picnmix.
We have a new car! Can't pick it up til Monday. DH and FIL (retired mechanic) have been over it with a fine tooth comb. All it needs is a new electric switch for the front passenger side window. I think I can live with that! So happy can start thinking about Xmas again now!

HANLEY that must be such a relief for you, so glad x

Sorry I have been mia again but have been manic at work and running kids round everywhere, however because I am up to date my last working day is wednesday 18th and I don't go back till the 6th. Everything except wrapping is done :) oh and food shopping but bulk of that is either already ordered for collection or already under the stairs.
And now to start our Christmas celebrations off we are off to board the Polar express, well in 4 hrs we are sooooooo excited. We told the boys at lunch time, they are super excited toooooo.
Love to all, will have a proper cathch up in the morning.

CHOCCYMOOSE have a lovely time on the Polar Express, hope the boys love it x

really gotta get a move on this wk as seems like I have loads left to do & still gotta put the rest of the decs up. guess its prob not as bad as its seems but need a mega clean/tidy as only managed the essentials this wk :o

    task for next wk
sort out the xmas day sos(save our sanity ;)) box basically a little box with things like notepad/pen for keeping track of presents, scissors, screwdrivers in assorted
sizes esp the tiny ones, assorted batteries all those things you
    end up frantically searching for
put up the rest of the decs
sort out xmas day/boxing day outfits (I know I brought some bits in the sale but cant find them )
get fillers sorted into bags for each person before the kids breakup
get 2 more scratchcards & make up pots of gold/jewels
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk

ooh batteries... I need some AAA and AA..

I have compiled a shopping list.. I have a fair few bits to buy still.. is it fair to buy dressing gowns for 2 of my 3 grandbeasts or should I get Jacob one too? He is 4 .. the other 2 are 16 months so he is of an 'aware' age... should I get him one too??

I have an increasingly long list for shopping lol..

Ive decided that as Ive done all the christmas prep/pressie buying/card sending that my darling OH can go to Meadow hell to get the ipad on Tuesday.:D

I did venture out to Tesco and i was very surprised at how quiet it was , it was 1 o clock and there were empty tills ! probably something to do with the huge prices .

unless he doesn't already have one I don't think he'd mind if you didn't tbh at 4 he's gonna be more interested in toys. I try to make sure they have a similar amount of presents rather than the same things.
