Yes she has stopped phoning but FM is here so can't really say it has been a quiet evening. Although he is now in bed. Got him a day early as we are in London on Sunday.

Oh and the coat rack fell over into the lounge and broke a stag
I keep telling the kids to even their coats out, but they still keep putting them all on one side.

    :( which one broke?

    But more importantly

  • Nanamia I used 2 canes, a kitkat, 3 kinder beuno bars, 2 little boxes of smarties topped with couple gold coins wrapped up in red curling ribbon and a lindt santa deiving it. Once I worked out what was whar they went together v fast. The ribbon was the biggest pain!

Yes dd1 being so close to chrimb is a pain. Doubly annoying as she was due in march but due to me havibg crap lady parts lol she arrived in december. That was a fun christmas. If you google we had soup for christmas dinner youll see a film the bbc made about us to highlight neonatal issues. Shes a healthy almost 6 year old now. X

    Morning!

Here's a couple of pics of my nutty cat from this morning. She decided she wanted to play with my coffee mug (luckily empty!)

  • Happy birthday tooooo yoooooo Feisty and picnmix.
Lord, the wind (outside) is terrible, quite worrying, as l haven't recovered from the last lot of damage yet. OMO glad the phone calls have stopped, Freespirit, thank goodness you are ok, your DD is right, only people matter, (and pets) stuff doesn't. but get insurance as soon as you can afford to.
What a busy lot you have been, wrapping, posting, making, baking, buying, hiding, plotting and planning, --anyone would think something special was happening soon!
I thought l had finished all the orders, but my neighbour friend's daughter has 'stolen' the hanging basket l made her mum, and has asked if I will make 3 more, (to buy) as her neighbours thought they were lovely -l did not set out to make to sell things, but the mse-er in me keeps saying, 'yes, no problem!' please, Santa bring me some 'won't power'.
Still lots left to do, l haven't even started on the food list, and the Christmas crockery is still in the cupboard, as usual mrs l is up to the ars* in crocodiles, and moving fast!
Hugs all round , singing silly Christmas ditties , have a lovely day all.

Hi everyone, thanks for the birthday wishes, Happy Birthday Fiesty x

Well the time is flying by, we never seem to have stopped over the last couple of weeks, but now have nearly all pressies bought, most wrapped, alcohol bought, have been on 2 Xmas do's, have been to kids nativity, christmas fayre at school, open afternoon's, assemblies, the list seems to be endless!

Am really in the Xmas spirit now, but really think I may start to have an unofficial birthday in the summer, just seems a bit too close to Xmas for it to feel birthdayish, everyone manic, am getting house ready for arrival of in-laws who have changed their minds again about coming and are now coming for a week and a half (OMG I may be a raving alcoholic by next weeked!!!!).

Have not had a chance to catch up for a while so hope everyone is getting into it now, and hugs to anyone and everyone who needs them.

Off to declutter spare bedroom and them carol singing this afternoon! See what I mean about not being birthdayish!!!

    Hugs to all xxx
