Im having a bit of a chilled day today- im waiting for an Argos delivery which will be here anywhere from now till 9pm ! i cant really grumble though as i only placed the order at tea time yesterday.

Had my dog to the vets yesterday as he has been limping apparently one knee hasn't formed properly and keeps "clicking " and will eventually start to repeatedly dislocate:eek:. He has been put on meds that are meaty tasting and he loves but we have to not let him run around so walks only no ball chasing!! then we go back in 2 weeks to see if he will need surgery.
Thank god for pet insurance !

Good luck to anyone going shopping today according to news paper reports today is "shopageddon" day !

    Morning all.
Big clean day today. Got a vax multi steamer on sale yestday, have already done the hob and bathroom, and have an oven cleaning kit on the go, the black gunk in the bag from the trays is embarrassing!
Just having a breakfast break then wil hoover upstairs the start on downstairs.
Later will make a start on ds gingerbread house with a nice clean oven.

Tomorrow should be free to relax a bit but do need to sort out the play room, ds has a lot of crap he never plays with so we will go through and see if we xan make room for new stuff he'll get at Christmas.
Trying to get it done this weekend as next will be a Christmas fest and I don't want housework to ruin our fun.

Hope you all have fun and productive weekends.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

    Happy birthday Feisty amd Picnmix.

We have a new car! Can't pick it up til Monday. DH and FIL (retired mechanic) have been over it with a fine tooth comb. All it needs is a new electric switch for the front passenger side window. I think I can live with that! So happy can start thinking about Xmas again now!

Everything except wrapping is done :) oh and food shopping but bulk of that is either already ordered for collection or already under the stairs.

And now to start our Christmas celebrations off we are off to board the Polar express, well in 4 hrs we are sooooooo excited. We told the boys at lunch time, they are super excited toooooo.

OMG the polar express!! i just googled it as i didnt realise there was such a thing. what a wonderful thing to do. you lucky thing. are u all going in your pjs? please tell us how you get on.

watching river cottage at christmas and feeling very festive. wrapped all the presents for my sons school friends. its so hard. ive made him limit it to five...they are only pound shop chocs but its hard for him to choose. i have to put a limit on it though.

how many times have i said " im all done" well there is still three presents to wrap and a box of chocs to buy. its never ending. this year i didnt buy anything in the sales for this christmas which i normally do so this year after christmas i will be getting cards and some small gifts. and at least some crackers!!
