Pigpen hope you and the littlies are feeling better, and you manage some sleep tonight. Yay you've wrapped too. Go you :) But have you remembered to eat? xxx

I have about 4 boxes left to wrap.. not a huge amount at all really.. DD1's little family are all done.. they have very little but I did tell them that when I bought them a dishwasher earlier this year and DS1 got a cooker so they could feed the boys!

eating..hhmmm... I had 2 slices of toast this evening and a sandwich at lunch.. does that count?

I might just have scurvy!!! lol

  • Lovely pics nanamia - sounds as though you had a lovely time. We really do need to put more effort into meeting up with friends and family more often. So pleased you have found some Christmas spirit.

Got most of wrapping done now. :j Some cheeses will have to be done on Christmas Eve, need an app voucher and some choccies for DS (might get them this morning from Mr. S's).

Should really be making the most of the 90 minutes I've got before I go shopping but I have got a serious case of cba :o.

Hope you all have a productive day - promise I will get my backside into gear shortly :p Got Annie Lennox christmas cd in car so I can sing-a-long all the way to the supermarket. DH will love it :rotfl:

  • Nana, your trip sounds wonderful!

Severely suffering with CBA for the last few days - decorations are supposed to go up this evening and the house is not up to my standards of cleanliness (I know I'm not supposed to be aiming for perfection!) so I plan to do a really frantic 2 hour clean and then enjoy putting the decs up.

I haven't delivered any more cards, and still haven't got bff pressies posted (need to check last postage date) also I used my gingerbread house cutters, went to assemble yesterday and realised I'm a roof tile short! In sheer frustration I've started eating the pieces, and I honestly don't know if I can be bothered to make another batch - feeling very tired and emotional over the shop being packed up next week. Still trying to keep positive, it's just so flipping hard!

  • FF - that CBAitis must be catching. My bum is till planted firmly on the sofa. Really need to get a wriggle on. :D I really feel for you having to pack things up next week with everything else that is going on for you both. How frustrating to find you are a tile short on your gingerbread house. Give things a quick flick of the duster, dash around with the hoover, get those decs up and then put your feet up and enjoy all your hard work.

PS Im off to get ready now (promise) :D

Asda online have an offer on the £25+ iTunes vouchers if that's any use to you.

Don't wanna be up at this hour. Terrible nights sleep and been lying in bed for an hour trying to get back to sleep. Gave up and DH has made me a cuppa.

    Happy friday peeps.

This weekend will be quiet for us, ds is attempting to make a gingerbread house (translation: I will be making him a gingerbread house). He also wants to do some of the craft stuff the christmas elf has brought him this week. A make your own badge, some colouring sheets with stickers, play snakes & ladders. He broke up frmo school yesterday so the craft work should keep the boredom at bay.

Next weekend is the busy christmas fun on, we are doing the snowman ballet, lunch & southbank christmas market next saturday & sunday will be making mince pies & visiting santa.

He is so super excited now, I hope he contains himself in the run up to the day. :D
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
