    Hugs Narc0lepsy.

Still sorting out my clothes although I did pop out for a couple of hours this afternoon. Quite a bit of stuff is going up the loft as hopefully I'll fit back into it at some point in the next few months. 2 bags for the CS so far so we'll see.

Didn't realise it would be hard. Anyway, sorry for indulgence.

No need to apologise. Loss of any kind is tough and I think you did the right thing, waiting until you were ready. (((Hugs))).

I was going to say Pollybear and Vanilla when up they both pop :)

It has been lovely to see Boddy, Craftyscholar, Penelope Penguin, Serena, Nikki, Mudbath, GandB and Moam back along with other blasts from the past, plus Kazwookie and the now traditional Christmas posts from a distance.

We do still need Toots, Lady Liberty, hollyh, poohbear and Lilme, and how about the original thread poster Moggins!

Seconded! And appreciate the mentions up the thread^ - bow.gif

I just bought Thrifty Ways for Modern Days (reduced to £1.99 so even thriftier) and was HIGHLY impressed to see Moggins as one of the old style posters thanked by Martin, who, although before my time I know was the originator of this thread - and felt ALMOST like the book was aimed DIRECTLY at me LOL

As for this week - a toughie - but I would go for flying to start this week - start as you mean to go on and all that. So maybe the half-and-half as has been suggested?

I have decluttered some carriers to recycling - and I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT, AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME ALL MY IRONING IS DONE. There is very little in the laundry basket; whether I will be running another wash before 2013 I don't yet know - but it won't be a lot if I do!

I'm tidying the kitchen too - it WILL be cleaned tomorrow - it's ready!

  • Are we having an empty ironing basket for midnight tomorrow challenge?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Moam
    Just emptied mine:j
Got a couple of bits still drying on radiators but everything else ironed and put away. At work tomorrow so probably won't wash till tomorrow night. Is it cheating to only wash stuff that can go in the TD so I can fold it and put it away to avoid any ironing?
