Took me ages to get going today but eventually motivated myself. knew if I didnt do anything I would feel worse.
Have hoovered right through and more of the xmas stuff gone. Kitchen will get done after tea.
Have got a busy week ahead. DDs birthday tomorrow then two funerals coming up. At work tomorrow then will see DD. Not doing anything for the New Year. Probably a takeaway and see whats on the box.
Im watching the Big Bang Theory. Just find it really funny.
kazmeister Love the post.

? about next week
Two choices, either we have another 'holiday' week as kids are off school, New Year etc or we go straight back to it with a bang, a declutter and some serious cleaning. Vote now
Please note there will be loads of Newbies in the next few weeks (well has been for the past 6 years) so the thread will get busy. For a very short time if we try to reduce the chat a little (just so the newbies can get settled in) but that does not mean anybody is not to post, just include a little flying in it. This does settle down again after 2-3 weeks and don't feel you have to read all posts - you are supposed to be flying after all!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Another holiday week please Dusty.Spend less now, work less later.0

I think you should ease the newbies in with gentle lists Dusty!'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

I'm not going to vote because I'm at my mums sorting out her garage from Weds until Sunday!
Feel better for a spell in bed! This may be due to a disturbed night - I heard DH snoring from 2 onwards - and was awke when the phone went at 4.30am - it was DD2, who'd forgotten her key and was outside - very apologetic! Chest still hurts....
OH got clothes in town, and we got a new duvet - we've been cold recently, so this one is to be evicted! But I couldn't print my photos off the memory stick because DD1 had put them in a labelled folder for me!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Holiday. Nothing's back to normal till Mon 7th, even for me:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hmm. Tricky, Dusty. If I'd made the NY Resolution of starting Flying and there were no lists, I'd probably just give up. If, on the other hand, there were only Level 1 tasks like the kitchen sink on Day 1, vacumming the stairs on Day 2, cleaning the inside of three windows on Day 3 etc, ie just Level 1, then I'd probably think this Flying thing was as Do-able lark.
However, I do love an excuse not to do anything, so a holiday sounds very, very attractive ....Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.0 -
Hi there
Signing in late again this week, I kept meaning to post but kept getting thwarted, mainly by new cat! He has now started to go outside, but not fathomed the mystery that is the cat-flap yet, so we are up and down like a yo-yo letting him in and out. He is so full of delight and wonderment it's lovely! Also he has discovered my lap and sits gazing adoringly at me! Bless!!
Re the thread: I would vote for another 'Holiday' week, as most people I know are still celebrating in some way or another, and/or have kiddies at home, plus it will folk like me ease back into 'proper' housework slowly!
Also re favourite posts: one of my favourite was one from Lamewolf, which had me chuckling for days, but having a 'senior moment', I can't now think what it was about!! oh, oh, cat on me again! Typing with one hand so will update on flying later! have done lots today. Excuse any errors, back later, R x0 -
Dusty - I'll go against the flow and say fling out some horrid lists please lol, even if I don't get them done they are reminders for me to do things when I have the chance - sorry everyone :]]Projects made for craft fair - 40
