less food in mouth is far easier.

spam has about 600 calories/can, and is against forum rules.

  • Weight loss is never easy but neither are most of the things we go through in everyday life. I also believe all of us have demons in our closet that seem unbeatable and no matter what we do they won’t go away until someone gives us a hand and getting rid of them.

You just got to remember that when you want something in life you got to put in 110% and nothing less and only then will you get what you want. I wish you truly the best luck in your journey to lose weight fast[/URL] and hope I helped.

Eat Healthy. As the saying goes “abs are built in the kitchen”. You can train hard & build muscular abs, but if you eat junk food all day, you won't lose your belly fat. Stop eating processed food. Eat whole, unprocessed foods.

Proteins. Meat, poultry, fish, whey, eggs, cottage cheese, …
Veggies. Spinach, broccoli, salad, kale, cabbage, …
Fruits. Banana, orange, apple, pineapple, peers, ...
Fats. Olive oil, fish oil, real butter, nuts, flax seeds, …
Carbs. Brown rice, oats, whole grain pasta, quinoa, …
No need to be perfect. Eating junk food actually helps fat loss by keeping your hormones sharp. Don't overdo it though. Eat junk food 10% of the time max. That's 4 junk meals/week if you eat 6 meals/day.

I lost 70lbs a couple of years back and have put on 36lbs again since. I have now set myself a new goal of losing 50lbs so that from my original start weight a couple of years ago it'll hopefully end up at exactly 84lbs loss - the same as you. Strange how that adds up.

Have you thought about joining parkrun? I joined recently and found it really helpful, I'm 5ft1 inch and currently just shy of 15 stone so morbidly obese I think I come under, I've done park run twice now and I'm currently on week two day two of c25k, I'm enjoying the process of running, just hope I can get on top of the sugar addiction

2lbs a week is very easy to lose, if you are very ow then at first especially you could easily lose double that.

I've used a few diets and now use a combination- paul mckennas method is a good starter, I use an ultra low carb detox for the odd 2 week boost (lost a stone in 14 days 1st time I used that! It's VERY hard though) and the 5:2 fasting also works very well for me.

Like another poster said - there's a diet that will suit you out there.

The key is simple- move more and eat less.
Think about what you're eating, don't read or watch tv whilst eating, don't clear your plate if you're full and always think 'water' 1st - most hunger pangs are actually thirst.

Do the diet sensibly, see your doctor about exercise, it's very easy to overdo it at 1st and injure yourself - and that WILL stop you losing anything then!

Good luck, I have 28lbs to lose: cycling also works for me, but with 99% of sports you need decent kit (not a £100 bike, it'll be torture) and you really have to enjoy it!
That's why I'm here at 5.18- I get up to cycle 10mls before breakfast- not today though - snow & cycling don't mix!
Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
If you don't like my opinion feel free to respond with your own.

I just finished C25K today :T It took me longer than the approved 9 weeks (I had the dreaded bronchitis that's been going around over Christmas) and I certainly won't be running three miles in 30 minutes any time soon but I did run three miles today. It's a great programme - just stick at it and don't worry if you have to repeat a week. I pottered around doing 5 minute runs for a couple of weeks before gritting my teeth and realising its all about mental not physical strength. And I have definitely found myself eating more healthily without actually being on a diet - bananas are your friend here.

I just completed week two of c25k I have to admit I found week two hard going and have developed some pain in my left leg, will need to get it checked by the dr but from a quick google it appears I may have shin splints ( which probably isn't a surprise given how heavy I am ) if this is the case I will need to knock the running in the head till my leg gets better, I will continue to go on the treadmill however and gradually build up my walking speed so that when I'm ready to run again I can get back into it

I want to run, but I don't want to risk my health doing it ... Feeling rather frustrated just now about it tbh
