  • Rabbit.
it's the first time I've ever cooked one and to be honest I don't like the look of it.
I know it sounds pathetic but it looks too much like a rabbit for my liking.
My son who works in the countryside assures me it makes great stew so I am giving it a go.
The cat is sitting on a chair in the kitchen and keeps sniffing the air so I know it won't get wasted if I can't face it.

there's a chicken in mine about an hr ago on high,,will turn it down later,,

Put our chicken in about 9.30am - and it smells absolutely delish already! Will give it another hour or two on high and then switch to Low to finish off.

    Really looking forward to this!

I have never put rice in a SC before do you need to cook it first or just put it in raw, also how many did your ingredients serve

    Thanks
    Kathy

I just gave it a rinse with cold water and threw it in uncooked. This cooked dinner and lunch for the next day for 3 people

When cooking stew or ham joints etc do you have to get the liquid hot before placing on the slow cooker .
