today we have a rabbit (saddle and legs ) along with carrots, swede, one spud, onions, yellow peas, cannelinis, pearl barley and stock (along with some seasoning, a fresh bay leaf and a liberal shake of Thyme)

Be all lovely for the OH when he gets home tonight

diced chicken, tikka paste, 1 re and 1 white onion 1/2 pint chicken stock and a carton of passata....not strictly authentic but i'm calling it chicken tikka and serving with rice, naan bread, popadoms and raw onion salad

yesterday it was christmas puddings.. one after the other.. poor slow cooker has never had to work so hard! they look great though.. and on xmas day they can steam in there and save me a hob ring for other things!

Um mashed potato? Make a mash potato moat and chuck it in the middle?

today i have stewing steak, beef stock, red wine and shallots. will top with slices of potatoe and transfer to the oven to become a beef hotpot style dish

I have some red lentils and leftover bacon, so was thinking of doing a soup in my slow cooker. I've never made anything apart from stew in it though:o so if anyone could point me in the direction of a recipe i'd be very grateful.
