Go easy on the amount of liquid, yummyhoney - you don't want it 'swimming' in loads of watery stuff.
  • I have also got one of the £2 asda gammons, going to try the gammon in cola recipe but not sure how long or what setting to put my slow cooker on,

can anyone advise? I did try searching through old threads but they all seem to refer to larger size joints - mine is only 700g.
  • i'd just half the ingredients,,well im doing the ham in cola tomorrow and going to use slightly less cola as my joint on 1.5kg

  • it was more the time and heat setting i was worried about. for the bigger joints some have said 5 hours on high or 8 hours on low so wasn't sure whether i can just half these times. haven't cooked gammon in my sc before so wasn't sure.
