I have some lamb in the freezer that i want to slow cook tomorrow. DH & Kids have both asked if it can b a minty lamb style dish.
UM... I need some help with a recipe idea. Would the lamb and a jar of mint sauce in the slow cooker be ok?Banana LoversBuy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning0 -

In my slow cooker I have:
turkey leg
potatoes
onions
carrot
swede
parsnip
chicken stock
sage
thyme
Hope it's ok, haven't done it before! Will go home at lunch and have a look at it and maybe give a quick stir - I know I shouldn't but I can never resist! To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -

Don't forget though that everytime you take the lid off you are reducing the cooking time by 20 mins, ie you should leave it for 20 mins longer than planned if you do that. This is what it said in the instructions that I got with my s/c.0 -
Thanks Carlsberggal, I don't like lamb or mint sauce so couldn't really think of the right quantity!Banana LoversBuy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday.
