I pop my dumplings on about 50 minutes before serving Valli :)
Thanks for that (and have thanked you properly;))
I got mine for xmas - today it is ON FOR THE FIRST TIME

    I have in there
    lamb chops (whoopsied:money:)
carrot, onion, sweet potato, salt, pepper, mixed herbs and a dash of worcestershire sauce. (cos that's what I had in the house)
Think I might go and squirt some tom puree in.
    It's on medium.

Valli resist the temptation to keep checking it! Remember every time you lift the lid you add 20 minutes to the cooking time. If you're using raw veg it will need plenty of time to cook through, but medium should get the job done in time for tea, unless you keep lifting the lid ;)
    Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j
  • Good Luck with it Valli. Sounds delish.

I've got pork mince, peppers and onions, which I fried off first. With, chopped fresh tomatoes, some chopped frozen spinach, worcester sauce, balsamic vinegar, pork stock cubes, garlic, and ginger. Yumyumyumyum.

That'll blast away on high till tea time at 6pm.

    Mmmmmmm smells gorgeous! :D

The gammon I cooked yesterday was delish! cooked it on high as recommended, served with roasted carrots, parsnips, swede and potato. Plenty of gammon left.

  • Any recipes for chicken casserole folks?

I've made one with home-made chicken stock but it's a little bland.
