Good - that's step one to getting some independence : )
I agree with the above - that they're being pretty flexible on what you give back - BUT equally I think it gives them too much access to your finances.
Go through all of your incomings and outgoings and come up with a 'top' figure for each bill. No, that won't be quite right with the expenses for your old flat but things will settle down, even if it means only giving £1 to your folks.
I find it really helpful to know how much is going out on DDs and SOs each month so that I can gauge how much is left. If you can commit to a regular amount each month that will go to your folks you can work out how long you'll be indebted to them, and almost 'countdown' to not owing them - but equally it takes their nose OUT of your business a little bit while not actually telling them to back off : )0
