I'm with you Lilyplonk - really need to have something to track my spending/savings on. I started 2012 writing down all my outgoings, but it's so hard to keep track when they're just written in a notebook. I think that will definitely be my first challenge. This is such a cool idea!0

Oooh I'd love to join, my list of challenges 2013 includes trying something new every week along with lots of other OS things I need to learn.
Miss Havisham - I use Stardrops and they're great, I got them from the supermarket for less than a pound and they clean the kitchen surfaces and bathroom and mop the kitchen floor so I've been saving money on all the other cleaners. I don't think there's much you can't do with Stardrops!
Lilyplonk - have you checked out cw18's amazing spreadsheet on the 2013 Frugal Living Challenge, it's easy to use and easily adapted to your own categories of spending.
I want to do more baking now I'm part time at work, pizza dough and breadmaking are on my list. I want to learn knitting and crochet, make a skirt or two, learn to grow my own veggies and herbs, take a dance class, try fruit and veg I haven't tried before, learn yoga and meditation and lots more crafts! Quite a lot to get through:eek: I'm making a big diet change to more a veggie and fish based lifestyle. I do voluntary work which gives me the chance to learn lots of craft and art skills and I'd love to make some little curtains for my summerhouse to complete my garden."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." skint-chick I just found this on pinterest - http://www.laurenslatest.com/fail-proof-pizza-dough-and-cheesy-garlic-bread-sticks-just-like-in-restaurants/
That is on my list to try, looks like a really good recipe. And I'm hungry and the garlic cheese fingers are making my mouth water :rotfl:
I'm in for this challenge. I'm wanting to sew more next year. I've already decided Christmas 2013 will be a handmade and homemade Christmas for everyone :T
I will use this challenge for Christmas 2013, as well as just making my life more frugal and more money saving :TCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Just realised there might be one problem with this thread - reading what everyone else wants to do makes me want to do it too! I can see 2013 is going to be manically busy...:D0

I'd like to join too please. I knit and sew a bit and food is always cooked from scratch but want to learn to crochet and make more home made gifts. I've made a couple this year but want to do more. I have lots of ideas but just need to get on and do it.0

JackieO, you could challenge yourself to help other people learn your skills :T Me for example :rotfl:
My first challenge will be to finish off the gingerbread man cross stitch I have started! Will plan to start on the last Sunday of this month and be finished by the following Sunday.
Said it now, will need to do it :rotfl::TCan't think of anything smart to put here...0
