Hello, as a newbie to this forum may I say I find you all inspiring, maman thank you for your post, it helps to read it & I shall wear a skirt or dress today!
I've been cleansing my face at night more often, making more of an effort with my hair: I've been enjoying "the little things" blog for loads of hair tutorials (can't post a proper link sorry) & using body moisturiser. I need to concentrate more on eating habits & build up exercise.
Thank you to all you lovely ladies.0 -
morning all.
Haven't been on much lately as I haven't felt I've much to say...I always put on perfume, moisturise after a shower, cleanse and tone and all that, plus wear makeup and do my hair every day so no point banging on about it
Apart from the gym I do nothing else fab lol
I do need new clothes as all mine are getting big, even my new ones, but I don't see the point of getting more til I've reached my goal weight as I can't afford to keep buying new things. Plus, I want to invest in a few more expensive pieces that'll last once I've got my weight down, a fab coat and decent jeans etc.
My goal weight is 60kg and I'm currently at 69.8kg...under 70kg for the first time in a long time!! Pretty pleased with myself this morning hahacarpe diem

Well today is a duvet day - I have a mega lurgy and have had to cancel everything. So frustrating
Will try and do a bit of paperwork but I think it will be mainly sofa surfing, and resting.
So.......not much fabbing today.....0 -
Hi everyone
Sorry you're not too good again LL.
DD2 is still having pain. We did go and see the lady with the horses and though she is young she works with horses and does seem to know what she's doing. The horse was calm though it has been ill but she says he is always like that. I felt that she would be able to teach DD2 a lot and the big plus is it's v. near our house. DD2 is going to give it a go when she is better and we'll see how it goes. Fingers crossed this one works out as we've already had a couple of dissapointments with unsuitable ones already.
Off out for a meal tonight (DS1's treat to me) and then I really must get back to watching the eating on the non fast days. I still want to lose afew more pounds.

Good afternoon ladies,
Welcome mcflinders, jump in and join the fun.
*steps away from LL* sorry you have the lurgy.
Enjoy your duvet day.
Lovely encouraging post Maman :T
Enjoy your treat Lizzie.
Bitsy, I have the same problem with t-shirts  Ideally I would like 99% cotton with 1% elastane but they are hard to find!
Have managed a mini pedicure, manicure, and facial. Leaving the polish off until the sandal weather arrives.
Sunny but a very chilly breeze here, just the weather for a casserole, I'm off to prepare the vegetables. Some days are just for popping something in the oven grabbing a good book and curling up in front of a roaring fire...bliss.
Enjoy the day

Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather LL, hope you feel better soon.
I loved this line in your post
Have done a shop, stocking up on healthy goodies - so it's all steam ahead now.
I read it as LL's going to be superhealthy and have steamed veg!:rotfl:mcflinders wrote: »I shall wear a skirt or dress today!
Good for you!:T I forgot to say that I always wear opaques with my skirts and dresses at this time of the year. Aside from the obvious warmth, I think I'm prepared to wear a shorter skirt with opaques than with sheer tights.
Bratz, I got clothes from charity shops when I was between sizes. It also gave me a chance to experiment cheaply with some colours. I know it's a bit hit and miss with their stock but might be worth a look or ebay often has bargains.
I need to get my hair cut as having been out of action for weeks it's a bit long and starting to lose shape. As I always have an (expensive ) blow dry I like to make an appointment for when I'm going somewhere special. I know I should just go and not worry about it but....
This is probably an old adage but new to me: willpower is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets!0 -
Hello all! Thank you for the congrats on the observation. Its made no difference to the madness of work this week - things were just as busy afterwards! But its Friday and so who cares now?:rotfl:
LL - hope you feel better soon
Maman - your post was a timely reminder about what the aim of the thread is all about. I think I've changed quite a bit too - still a work in progress though.
Lizzie - hope your meal goes well tonight - enjoy!
I'm going to have a look to see if I can book a massage for the weekend - could do with a bit of ironing out. My hair is also greying again so I need to get that sorted too.
Will have a relax and maybe a little tipple this evening and then look forward to the time off.
Happy Friday everyone!0 -
Fabness for me today was exercise banish fat boost metabolism and an early finish at work!
Looking forward to a relaxing weekend pottering, usual cleaning catch up - altho have done some today so shouldn't take too long - and plenty of rugby watching inbetween and some exercise - nice!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Have just taken my haggard looking self in hand and had a long soak in the bath, defuzzed, face scrubbed, dead sea face masked, trimmed toenails, filed and polished fingernails and booked an appointment for a back massage for tomorrow. Will try to get my eyebrows sorted tomorrow too and pick up some hair dye and get the badger look sorted out.
Feel better already
May go mad and do a tinted body lotion before bed too. A bit of colour wouldn't hurt.
Its been so manic lately that only basic fabbing has been going on - it actually feels good to take care of myself.0 -
Good morning everyone!
Well today's plans for a happy relaxing weekend are to finish off the cleaning, tidy my nails up, have a facemask, have a hairmask, do Shred L2, walk up to town to see if the reduced top I found goes with a busy patterned skirt that I've struggled to find a top to go with or not then back to watch the rugby and make a nice tea
Quite a lot to fit in today!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
