Good morning
The most stunning sunrise this morning. It looked absolutely beautiful, illuminating the sky and highlighting the snow I just stood and watched it whilst drinking my coffee. What a lovely start to the day.
Sometimes nature can present us with something so spectacular that you just have to stop and drink it all in.
The sun is now streaming through the windows - it's going to be a lovely sunny house and garden in the summer.
Anyway off for a soak in the bath - I'm am as stiff as a board this morning. I did restart my yoga yesterday, just a few simple stretches - need to build up a bit more each day.
Hopefully if the weather holds I'm going to get out and about today - before we have the next lot of snow.
Bratz - glad to see you are feeling a bit brighter.
Apparently, yesterday is known as Blue Monday, because it is felt to be the worst day of the year for people feeling down in the dumps. Some sort of post Christmas blip, when we're all skint, the bills start rolling in and the weather is doing it's worst.
Well - they certainly got it right about the weather.....
Have a good day. Hope some of you are seeing some of this beautiful sunshine - even if there's not much heat behind it.0 -
Morning all,
Bratz and Maman - hope you're both feeling a bit brighter x
Bitsy - the sledding sounds fun, God, haven't sledged in I don't know how many years :rotfl:
ww - hope your course is still on
LL - could do with some of that sun over here, the snow's still coming down and just cold and dull out. Not majorly sticking round my area so still had to go to work - what's the use of snow if it doesn't get you a day off? :rotfl:
Interesting on the Blue Monday, I do think it's definately the time of time for feeling a bit down in the dumps. Know I've been struggling for motivation a bit lately. Went to see OH's choir last night and do a bit of filming - they were really good, show should be great. Just hoping my filming goes ok, am very nervous about having to do it by myself. Got edits back on my short story - the inevitable 'Americanisation' of itStill must try and get on with them soon. Have my choir tonight though so probably not much else getting done. They've just managed to get the heating working at work - so hopefully may be able to take my gloves off by lunchtime :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Hi all
Fabbing still good and have managed three whole weeks doing my nightly routine. I need to up my care though and start putting in some deep cleansing as well.
weight reduction of 1.5lbs this week so that was good too.
Oops have to go DS is shouting. Back later.0 -
Fabness for today is the usual skincare routine, Extreme Shred done which is getting better now on L1

The sun came out here for a little while. Lots of snow still here. The heating has made my hair straw like!
No decluttering today but I'm enjoying seeing small changes and space clearing in the houseDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Stuff blue Monday how about blue Tuesday
Chest feels tight thanks to stress. Number of factors, living life in limbo, worrying about H travelling to Bath and back in awful weather, stressed DS, hardly seeing H etc. really not been in a good head space today
Fabbing - gave myself a mini pedicure last night, feet were really dry. Been slapping on the Boots Hemp face cream too in order to boost the dry skin as a result of the weather. Not much else going on although I am finding walking the dog quite taxing in the snow, much the same as walking in sand dunes :rotfl:
Pod am sure filming will be fine x
Maisie well done on weight reduction :T
Bratz hang in there honey xxx
Stay warm everyone, it's cold out there :eek:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Where are you all:rotfl::rotfl:
Bitsy - sorry to hear you are feeling so low. I know how awful it is and what you are going through. My OH often had to work away. The worst case was when he moved away and like you I had to try and sell our house, take care of everything, look after my two toddlers. It was hell.
Try not to worry too much about H's travelling in the bad weather, I'm sure he will be careful and not take unnecessary risks. Just make sure that he has warm clothing and blankets etc in the car and of course a credit card and hotel guide just in case.
Any viewings on the house recently. Spring is just round the corner perhaps things will perk up then and of course the lighter evenings and better weather will make driving conditions easier for your H.
Snowing again here, so going to stay in and have a catch up day, ironing, house fabbing, cooking. I've got a nice healthy casserole simmering away and aim to make some cake. I fancy doing a bit of baking.
Was going to hang some paintings today but can't find the picture hooks have gone awol. Will need to buy some more when I'm next out and about.
That's about it for now - off to tackle that ironing.0 -

Nope no viewings, guess weather doesn't help. I am finding it depressing to have our rightmove stats and then no viewing but I do have to keep reminding myself it's early days.
Feeling slightly less stressed today, H working from home so that's nice.
Nails are in a terrible statelast time I am wearing glitter nail varnish. Had to soak fingers in remover to get it off and my nails have started to spilt and peel
Not much other fabbing, hasn't stopped snowing all day. Didn't think we were supposed to get any more but it's still coming
No other news so off to house fab insteadI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

bitsy - I used some glitter nail polish once and it was the worst decision ever - a complete pain to get off.
