Have continued fabbing this week so that's two weeks in a row :j I have an outbreak of spots but think this is down to my totm due soon as opposed to my skin regime lol.

LL - I have the Hairy Bikers book and it is fantastic. I have probably done about 20 recipies out of it so far and they have all been delicious. DH and I have been thoroughly enjoying them and the good thing is the freezer is filling up nicely with the remaining portions for nights when I am more pressed for time.

Fedupandskint - Ooh I really envy you even though it must be annoying having to buy clothes and only fit them for a few months.

Welshwoofer - gosh you must be doing really well on your weight reduction too. It's so annoying when you just hate everything in your wardrobe. I am a SAHM and I frequently look in my wardrobe and am absolutely sick of seeing the same things. It would be great if we had loads of money and could do a whole new wardrobe each season.

Mineallmine - that is some great clearing out. Our garage and loft are stuffed and we have to get them decluttered. DH started clearing out the garage last summer but has kind of lost momentum in the autumn/winter. I really must nag him back into it lol.

Everyone seems to be racing along, despite the snow ;)

Snowed all day again today, fine flakes but its been continuous since 9.30am this morning. Already had 6" of snow from Friday. Kids school is closed tomorrow, H is probably going to be working from home so in all honesty tomorrow is likely to be pushing my buttons a lot :o

Not much fabbing. Had 4 hours kip last night as I was out with a friend. Didn't drink as I was driving but did dance loads. Still managed to wake up feeling like I had a hangover :eek::eek: must be dehydration so in future I need to get more water inbetween those large glasses of soft drinks!

Not much else to report. Hugs and high fives all round :)

LL good news about the earrings :)

Hewie glad your mum is so close to you xxxx

Apologies for not mentioning anyone else brain gone to mush :o

As usual, I have been absent for a while but keeping up with fabbing. Had a hair cut at the weekend (25% off as it was a cancellation) and a facial during the week last week - it was the first time I had tried our local college for this and it was good and only £12 rather than £35.

This week I am going to get back into swimming. Have asked at the new school I work at and am allowed to use the pool so I have got a few from my department to come for a swim on Tuesday after work. I have had a walk each day over the weekend and I love getting outside but walking after dark once I am home from work mid-week is harder.

LL I would also like to have a winter sun holiday next year, probably going away over Christmas and NY. It will be the first time I have done this and will need to save towards it. Might start looking at brochures to get some ideas. Where is good to go for guaranteed sun at that time of year? I was thinking Tenerife.

Pam - where are going to on your cruise. Definitely worth fabbing for. I'm sure it will be warmer than here anyway. My friend is off to Egypt again next week, assuming Gatwick is open for business.

I am hoping to manage a cruise this year - I fancy the Baltic Sea/ St Petersburg one. Obviously that's a summer one - don't fancy getting stuck in ice-bound sea in the Baltic.

I am going on a med cruise. Barcelona-Madeira, it is my first cruise, I am looking forward to it.
My sister and her husband have travelled extensively, and now go on several cruises a year, they really enjoy them, as he cannot come it will be my sister and I.
They went on the Baltic Sea / St Petersbourgh one 2/3 years ago , my sister said it was fabulous.
Do I need it or just want it.

    Morning all,

sparkles - great bargins there :)

WW - have you tried the charity shop for any suits in your size? Might be able to pick up a bargin. Or are anything like clothes swopping parties in your area? (there seem to be a few 'charity organised' ones near where I live - not sure how great they are but seems a good idea in principal).

LL - how lovely to find the earrings again, bit of karma coming back for all your hard work x

bratz - *hugs* hope you're ok hun x

Not been a bad weekend, after saying we'd not had much snow then it really came down on Friday - luckily it started just as I got off the bus home from work, so at least didn't have to try and trek in through the worse of it. Still coming down a bit today but not sticking much so far so the roads weren't too bad and the buses running ok (fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse now!). Fairly quiet weekend, had a meeting about a wedding job Sat and went to meet a friend for coffee and a nice catch-up yesterday, but apart from that haven't really left the house :o Did manage to get a bit of work done, finished off and edited my short story on the mining disaster. Sent it off last night and had an email when I got into work this morning saying she loved it and would definately include it in the anthology :D So am very happy there! Started on a new one last night as well - which is rather naughty of me as I did say I wouldn't until I finished my two current ones, but ah well. Off to OH's choir rehearsal tonight for filming so going to be dashing there straight from work.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Hey Maman - glad you dropped by, was wondering if you were ok.

Bratz - honey just breathe..... Hope you feel better soon.

    Well Good Morning/Afternoon Everyone

I've just poked my nose outside the door, cleaned all the snow off the car and the drive, fired up the engine. That will do for today.

The snow looks beautiful, the main roads are clear but the pavements and side roads are lethal so I'm staying put.

    Have a good day. X
